Reading 教学设计
教学目标
知识目标:认读和理解单词telephone, wheel, comfortable, carriage, century, passenger, invent, practical, since, distance, mobile phone, anytime, develop, lamp, candle, daytime和短语since then, keep in touch with, in the daytime等。
能力目标:1.能够运用略读策略,借助主阅读篇章的标题、引言、插图及小标题的提示,帮助学生了解文章的主题和大意。
2.培养阅读微技能,如根据上下文语境猜测词义、搜寻细节信息的能力等。
3.通过多种形式的阅读活动与任务,帮助学生理解课文。
4.借助思维导图,整体感知语篇结构并延伸本课话题,做到学以致用。
情感目标:学生通过阅读这篇介绍车轮、电话和电灯这三项发明的科普文章,从而认识到这
些伟大的发明不但改变了人类的生活,同时推动了社会的进步,培养学生热爱科
学,激发探索精神和创新能力。
教学重点:阅读技巧和阅读策略的渗透,借助思维导图整体感知语篇结构并学习词汇
教学难点:理解文章结构和主要内容。
教学过程

Step 1Warming up Get the students to do a brainstorming Listen to the description of the inventions, then choose the right picture. 通过听各项发明的描述,激发学生对将要学习材料的兴趣,另一方面,为引出本科话题做好铺垫。
Step 2Pre-reading Guide the students to finish A1 by showing pictures. Write the name of each invention in the blanks. 借用图片,激活与本单元话题有关的背景知识,重点学习本课新单词。
Guide the students to observe the pictures, and read the title, the introduction and the sub-headings on page 51. Look at the photos, and read the title, the introduction and the sub-headings of the article, then answer the questions. 训练学生捕捉关键信息的技能,从而培养学生的略读能力。
Step 3While-reading First-readingGet the students to skim the whole passage, especially the title and the sub-headings, the first and the last sentences of each paragraph. Skim the whole passage, then match the main idea of each paragraph. 通过阅读文章每段的首、尾句和主、副标题来掌握略读技巧,了解文章结构和段落大意。
Second-readingAsk the students to read the whole passage carefully and help them choose the right answers. Read the whole passage and then choose the best answers. 通过scanning 的细读活动,培养学生获取和搜寻信息的能力。
Third-readingEncourage the students to read the passage again for details. Read the passage again, and complete the table on page 53.
Step 4Post-reading Show the spider graph to students. Fill in the blanks according to the spider graph 借助思维导图,帮助学生整体感知语篇结构和使学生对课文有更深的理解。
Guide the students to talk about their favourite inventions. Talk about their inventions in groups and then report it. 广开思路,课外延伸
Step 5Summary Guide the students to summarize what they have learnt today. Summarize what have learnt today. 让学生自主归纳,有助于培养学生自主归纳能力和帮助学生理解文章大意。
