教材分析 本节课是第二单元的Listening，重点是学会数字的不同表达方式, 培养听对话捕捉数字的基本技能，并且培养数字在不同方面的应用。
教学目标 Aim on Knowledge: Make the SS can read the dates, telephone numbers, time, decimals, percents .Aim on Ability: Let students read the numbers fluently and hear all kinds of numbers.Aim on Emotion : Care about other people.Aims on Strategy : The skill of listening.
教学重点 Let students read the numbers fluently.
教学难点 Let students read the numbers fluently and use all kinds of numbers.
教学方法 The gaming teaching methods; audio-lingual methods, situational teaching methods.
教具 PPT; test paper

Step1: Warming up Freely talk: What class are you in How many students here (Tell SS we can’t live without numbers.) Talk with the teacher about numbers. To arouse the interest and lead them to get into the world of Numbers.
Step2: Pre-listening Ask SS to read the numbers: Decimals Percentages； Dates TimeTelephone number read the numbers: Decimals Percentages； Dates TimeTelephone number with teacher’s help. Read the numbers clearly for a further studying.
Step 3: While-listening Read the numbers.Detailed listening.(Listen again )Check the answers. Read the numbers.Listen and circle the correct answers. Train the students’ ability to listen to numbers.
Step 4:Post-reading Let SS watch some pictures about numbers:Ask them to answer the questions based on the pictures. Answer the questions in pairs.Work in pairs to make conversations. Practise students oral English and train their target language.
Step 5:Summary Ask SS to summarize what they have learnt. review the expressions of the numbers. To develop the students’ ability of self –checking.
