一、教材概述
本课是仁爱英语教育出版社七年级上册Unit2,Topic1第一课时Section A。本课将学习Do you have... Does he/she have... 及其肯定和否定回答的句型,以及学习如何正确描述及询问人的外貌特征。为下一节课的进一步学习作铺垫。新单词有ear,hand,leg,mouth,hair。短语和新句型有Can you guess Does he / she have... 主要句型是I have a small nose, but he has a big one. She has long hair. He has a wide mouth. Do you have big eyes Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. 本课主要从学生兴趣出发,通过创设情景等多种形式,以旧带新教学新单词和新句型。并通过games、dialogues、listening、reading、picture talking、group work、pair work、interview、class activities等多种活动,复习旧知,联系新知,训练学生的听说和读的能力,提高学生的语言运用能力,让学生能学以致用,活学活用。
二、教学目标
1.知识目标
(1)Review some words about parts of body.
(2)Learn some new words and phrases :ear, leg, head, mouth, hand, hair, big eyes, a small nose, a wide mouth, short hair, a round face
(3)Go on learning the sentence patterns “Do you have... Does he / she have...”
(4)Learn the expressions about describing / guessing others’ looks.
① A: Do you have big eyes B: Yes. I do.
② A: Does he have long hair B: No, he doesn’t.
③ I have a small nose, but he has a big one.
④ Lucy has a big head. / It has a long neck. / They have small eyes.
2.能力目标
能够掌握Do you have... Does he/she have... 句型以及描述、询问人
的外貌特征时的表达。具体如下 :
①提高学生听、说、读的能力。
听:能听懂描述及询问人物外貌、体格特征的表达。
说:能用英语描述及询问人物外貌、体格特征。
读:能正确朗读对话,注意语音语调。能读懂有关描述、询问外貌的简单的对话或小短文。
②培养学生主动参与学习活动,善于和他人合作的能力。
3.情感目标
(1)能通过描述同学、朋友、喜爱的明星的外貌特征和性格特征。培养学生善于观察周围人和物的能力。并进行情感教育---外表很重要,但内在更重要。
(2)通过小组比赛,角色扮演、猜测游戏、记者采访和唱英文歌曲的方式,激发学生英语学习的兴趣,增强其学好英语的信心,乐于参与英语实践活动,互相交流。
(3)在学生两两交流和小组合作交流中,培养学生合作意识和合作精神,能够相互配合完成一段通顺流畅的说话训练,顺利完成猜测人物外貌表演、小记者采访调查和描述同学、描述明星等学习任务。
4.过程与方法
(1)能够通过师生说、两两说、四人小组活动、班集体活动和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程,掌握英语听说的基本方法;
(2)能够通过两两说、五人小组活动、班集体活动和综合探究活动体验合作学习的过程和方法;
(3)能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言,有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望。
5.情感态度与价值观
(1)通过比赛,角色扮演表演、猜测画中人物、小记者采访调查、介绍喜爱明星的外貌和唱英文歌曲的方式,激发和保持学生英语学习的动机,实现“趣能”两得;
(2)在学生两两交流和小组合作交流中,培养学生合作意识和合作精神,能够相互配合完成通顺流畅的说话训练,记者采访调查和唱好英文歌。并顺利准确的介绍同学、朋友、明星的外貌以及表达自己想要拥有的外貌、。
三、教学重点及难点
重点是掌握Do you have... Does he/she have... He has...句型以及描述人的外貌特征的常用语。难点在于学生能听懂并准确运用所学的描述常用语。
四、学习者特征分析
1. 学生在小学时已经学习了eye, mouth, ear, hair, head等这些单词,但在这套教材中仍把其当作新词汇进行教学;
2. 学生在平时的课堂活动中,已经形成了小组合作学习模式,能在小组内相互协作,分工明确,能有序快速地完成组内学习任务。
3.学生对Do you have... Does he/she have... 等句型已较熟悉;
4.学生思维活跃,善于和同学交流,乐于表达自己,渴望得到同学和教师的赞许;
5.学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,但是英语的听说和读的能力还要继续加强;
6.学生对于guessing、talking和picture talking的呈现形式感到很好奇,很喜欢游戏、比赛、采访、唱歌等多样的活动形式。
五、教学策略
1.师生示范策略:教师通过和1~2个学生的口语交际,给全班同学的两人一组或五人一组说话活动训练作示范,让学生清楚说话的内容和方式;
2.自主听读策略:学生通过自主听读课文材料和拓展材料,在完成课标要求的基础上训练听说能力,积累和丰富英语词汇和句式;
3.猜测游戏、比赛、记者采访调查、描述明星、描述本班同学或老师和唱英文歌等激趣策略:通过games、interview、sing a song等活动形式,有利于形成宽松活泼的课堂氛围,同时借助多种活动形式来巩固学过的句型和单词,在语言运用中学习英语。
4. 小组合作学习策略:小组之间自主、合作、探究完成对新授短语、句型的学习,以及借助猜测游戏、采访活动等形式小组合作交流、讨论,巩固对重点句型的学习。
六、教学资源
1.本课教材、有关身体部位的图片、明星的图片7张、绘画用的A3纸6张、采访用的表格及练习纸30张;
2.拓展资源:新词汇新短语的呈现设计及相关的图片资源,听说的训练设计和唱英文歌曲;
3.教学环境:多媒体、课件。

③Ask students to find out the key sentence patterns of 1a in groups. Read 1a by themselves and underline the key points. Improve the ability of learning by themselves .
④Practice 1a in pairs and then act it out. Practice 1a in pairs and then come to the front to act 1a out with a mask. Train their ability of using language
⑤Ask the students to describe their group members in pairs according to 1a. Try to describe one of their group members by following 1a. Let the students use the target in the real scene.
4. Practice ① Play a guessing game. Ask each group to draw a picture of one of their classmates or teachers. Then come to the front. The other groups guess who they draw. One group chooses a star on the PPT to draw his / her looks. The other groups guess who they draw by asking:Does he have… / Do you have… / Is he a boy / Is she a girl Let students practice the key sentence patterns.Play a game to arouse the students’ interest.
② Group work: Talk about stars. Look at these pictures carefully. Describe his / her looks in groups. Train the students’ ability of using language in the real scene.

5. Production ① Discussion T: Wow, your favorite star is so beautiful. I am also beautiful. But I want to be more beautiful.( The teacher give an example to the whole class.)
