一、教材内容分析
本节教学是九年级英语第一单元How can we become good learners 第一课时。本节课是学生暑假归来的第一节课,由于学生已经经历了初一、初二的英语学习,已经总结了一些有用的学习方法,对于考试也有了一定的心得,为了做好开学收心和总结提高工作而安排了这一单元的学习,所以教学难度相对较小,关键是对verb+ by+ gerund句型的掌握,能正确运用一般现在时和现在进行时就学习方法开展讨论,通过讨论学习方法能对所学目标语熟练运用,并通过交流总结方法、提高学习效率。
二、教学目标(知识,能力,情感态度与价值观)
Knowledge objects: Key words: flashcard, vocabulary, aloud, pronunciation.Target language: How do you study for a test I study by listening to tapes. Do you study by reading aloud Yes, I do. Have you ever studied with a group Yes, I have.Ability objects: Enable Ss to talk about how to study with the target language. Train Ss to master the structure: verb+ by with gerund.Moral objects: Helping others is helping ourselves.

为了提高学生的学习兴趣和实现预期的教学目标,本课综合运用任务型教学法、听说法、交际法,通过观察、激励、提问等方式,促进学生的合作、交流、探索、提高,促进学习方法的改善和自身的完善。
