教材 分析 本单元介绍了国内外不同的节日,文化气息浓郁,Section A侧重介绍我国的传统节日。通过学完本单元,掌握与节日相关的词语,能使用由that,if/whether引导的宾语从句表达自己的态度和看法;能使用由how或what引导的感叹句发表感叹。
教 学 目 标 知识目标: 词汇:folk, goddess, whoever, steal, lay out, dessert, garden, tradition, admire. 重点短语:celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival,the shape of a full moon on the Mid-Autumn night, traditional folk stories, the most touching, live forever, refuse to give it to him, Hou Yi was so sad that he…, How he wished that Chang’e could come back, the tradition of admiring the moon and sharing mooncakes with their families… (二)能力目标: To introduce festivals of China and other countries in English. (三)情感目标: To learn more about different festival cultures and improve our cross-cultural communication ablities.
教学 重难点 重点:学会介绍中西方的传统节日。 难点: 动词用法和感叹句。
教学 方法 交际法,任务型教学法,情境导入法,小组合作学习法。
教学过程:
Teaching Steps Teaching Activities Purpose
Step 1 Leading in Teacher shows a picture of mooncakes and ask some questions to talk about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the story of Chang’e. Show teaching aims. 中秋节的背景故事学生已熟知,通过多媒体出示月饼图片的问答形式、激发学生的活跃性,导入新课的学习,并让学生了解本节课的学习内容。为接下来的学习预热。
Step 2 Presentation Pre-reading: Predict the events in the correct order. While-reading: Read Para. 1 and answer the questions. Read Para. 2 , check T or F and correct them. Check the prediction above. Explain key points Have students read each paragraph and translate it, find key points on the notebooks in groups. Students explain first, teacher adds. Fill in the blanks in 3c without reading the passage. 1. 读前部分设置了对文中故事情节的顺序预测,让学生对3a课文有个整体的印象,为再读课文做准备。 2. 读中部分:在第一段设置了问题回答,在第二段设置了判断题,加深对课文理解,为下一步翻译、找知识点做准备。 3. 核对之前的预测题答案,检测学生的预测能力,提高持续学习的兴趣。 4. 找同学读课文并翻译,对课文内容能够完全熟悉,为接下来小组共同找出重点提供方便,对学生讨论也轻松很多,另外培养学生积极动手动脑的能力,“好学、乐学”。 知识点处理部分,学生先发言,培养学生敢于发言的能力,增加学习的兴趣。教师最后点拨。 5. 独立完成课文填空,检验学生对课文的掌握和理解程度。以便在练习中更好的指导。
Step 3 Sum up Students memorize key points in this part together with teacher. 让学生学会自我梳理知识,培养总结知识点的能力。
Step 4 Practice 1. Complete the blanks on the notebooks, then each group shows the answers on the blackboard. Check them together. 2. Finish other exercises. 通过练习对本节课的知识点作巩固,深化知识。熟能生巧。
Step 5 Homework Make sentences with useful phrases on the notebook. Recite this part. 进一步巩固和消化本节所学内容。
