Last month, it was my first time to have a bus tour for sightseeing in Hong Kong SAR. It's really pleasant and interesting. Sitting on the upper deck of the bus, I explored Hong Kong in a different way. When the bus passed along the street, all the buildings and attractions along the way seemed very close to me. I bought a one-day pass priced at $6 to enjoy unlimited(无限制的)rides on two important routes.
I started the trip from Central Star Ferry, and took the H1 Heritage Route to travel around the Central and Western District. After leaving Star Ferry, the bus passed Western Market and. Hollywood Road, where the famous antique(古董)shops are located, then Man Mo Temple. Not only could I go sightseeing on the bus, I also got off at many stops. I got off in Man Mo Temple and walked along Lascar Row. Then, I got on the sightseeing bus to Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, which was built in 1914 to honor the "Father of the Nation" in the Republic of China(ROC). And the famous Hong Kong University left a good impression on me. After traveling back through the dried seafood shops without stopping, I went to the terminus(终点站)at Star Ferry.
After the journey, I took the H2 Metropolis Route for my shopping tour. I left from Star Ferry and traveled through Wan Chai to Causeway Bay and Times Square for shopping. Having bought a lot of things, I went back via St John's Cathedral and Statue Square in the heart of Central.
Though tired, I did have lots of fun on my one-day bus tour!

Dogs and other hairy mammals(哺乳动物)shake at just the right frequencies to get rid of water most quickly from their bodies. Mice do it. So do tigers and pandas. These animals really know how to shake. Frequency is the number of cycles-movements back and forth-per second.
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta recently recorded videos of 40 different animals, standing for 15 different species(物种).The scientists wanted to see how wet, hairy mammals shake off water after they get wet. The scientists said the animals shake at just the right frequencies to lose water drops as quickly as possible. "I think it's pretty amazing that they can do that," David Hu, one of the scientists, said.
This study was led by Andrew Dickerson, a graduate student in Hu's lab. His team calls this get-dry shake "nature's analogy(类似处)to the spin cycle of a washing machine". Both the washing machine and shaking animals can get rid of water quickly-but animals are much faster than washing machines. For animals, this process helps them control heat in their bodies.
"If a dog couldn't dry itself, it would have to use 25 percent of its daily calories to heat its body to get rid of the water, " Hu said." Every time they got wet they would get hypothermia(体温过低)and die."
The bigger the animal, the slower it shakes, according to Dickerson and his team. A mouse moves its body back and forth 27 times per second, but a bear shakes only four times per second.
Animals' skin also helps them get rid of water. The scientists are continuing to look at how animals interact with water in the natural world. In particular, the scientists want to know how water interacts with hair-which means studying animals that have got used to life in the water, like beavers and otters.
What can we learn from the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs
Professor David Hu led the study.

Videos of 40 species of animals were recorded in the study.

34. What does the passage mainly talk about
A.The recorded videos of forty different animals.
B.The movement of animals in the water.
C.The importance of water for animals.
D.The frequency of animals' shaking water.
35. Where does the passage probably come from
A.A textbook. B.A science magazine.
C.A novel. D.A news report.
