This is the first period of the unit.The topic of the unit is about “holidays and vacations” and we talk about past events.It's necessary for the students to learn how to use simple past tense of regular and irregular verbs.And we will help the students to master the simple past tense by practicing listening and speaking,using “what,where,who,how,when” to make conversations.Meanwhile,we can create some situations to help them to use indefinite pronouns correctly.And they can improve their listening and speaking skills by communicating with partners.

In the second period,we guide students to pay attention to interrogative pronouns,interrogative adverbs and indefinite pronouns.We can show the usage of them on PPT.Ask students to make a conversation themselves using interrogative pronouns,interrogative adverbs and indefinite pronouns.Invite some of them to show their conversations and see if they master the grammar in this unit.
When we deal with the grammar,we'd better give students some written work as homework.For example,ask students to use indefinite pronouns to fill in the blanks of the dialogue.Also,we can get students to write a short letter to ask what their friends did last weekend by using indefinite pronouns.
