Step 1 Warming-up
1. Sing a song What’s your name
2. Work in pairs and introduce themselves to their partners and then greet them.
—Hello, my name is… What’s your name
—My name is… Nice to meet you.
设计意图:让学生熟悉英文学习的环境,为接下来的学习做准备。
Step 2 Pre-listening
Words and expression
1. Learn the new words of this unit.
2. T reads and Ss follow.
3. Ss read the words and T corrects the pronunciation.
设计意图:学习新词汇,为接下来的听力活动扫清词汇障碍。
Activity 1
Listen to a conversation, and find out how many people speak in the conversation and who they are. After that, check the answer together.

1. Listen to the recording again and check the words they hear.
2. Listen again and check their answers.
设计意图:通过简短的听力材料,让学生完成课文第1,2部分听力活动,培养学生提取关键信息的能力。

设计意图:通过听并回答问题的活动,引导学生初步了解课文,整体感知。之后通过让学生听录音判断句子正误并改正包含错误信息句子,引导学生进一步理解课文,同时培养学生提取关键信息的能力。

设计意图:通过读对话完成表格内容的活动,让学生带着问题阅读对话,培养学生对信息进行有效归类的学习策略。

Work in pairs. Choose the correct answer.
设计意图:通过小组活动,一问一答的形式,锻炼学生运用目标语言进行口语输出的能力。

1. Read the words in the box and make sure that they understand all of them.
2. Read the passage and then complete it with the correct form of the words from the box.
3. Check answers with the whole class.
设计意图:通过学生运用对话中出现的重点词汇完成小短文,既考查了学生对对话中的重点词语和信息的掌握,也考查了学生对短文的理解能力。
Language points
1. I’m from Wuhan. 我来自武汉。(我是武汉人。)
I’m from Beijing. I’m Chinese. 我来自北京。我是中国人。
这里be from表示 “来自哪里”“从哪里来的”。
在表达某国人时,要用其形容词形式,如Chinese,English等等。
表达来自某个国家时,要使用国名,如China,Canada等等。
2. I’m thirteen years old. 我十三岁了。
这里…years old用来表述年龄,表示“……岁”。有时,years old可以省略。只用数字表达年龄即可。
3. Welcome to… 欢迎来……。
Welcome to our school. 欢迎来我们学校。
设计意图:通过总结语言点,考查学生对这些重点词语和信息的掌握,再次巩固本课所学。

设计意图:通过学生跟读,纠正其语音语调。提高学生的口语发音水平。
