Step 1 Warming-up
1. Pair work
Describe a kind of animal to your partner and let him / her guess what the animal is.
2. Guessing game—What animal did he describe
Choose one student to describe one animal, and other Ss guess.
设计意图：提高学生的口语表达能力，同时复习上一课时的目标语言。
Step 2 Pre-reading
Activity 1
T lets Ss look at the picture and find the places on the map.

1. T gives an example, then Ss write another four sentences.
