Step 1 Warming-up
Review the phrases we learned yesterday.
设计意图:快速复习上节课内容,并为本节复习课做好准备。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Ss read through the example sentences and summarize the grammar rules about Wh- questions in present simple in groups.
2. T explains the grammar point—Wh- questions in present simple.
特殊疑问句
在询问时间、地点、人物或方式等时,要用特殊疑问句。
who what where which
when / what time
how how many how often
(1) 要根据所提问的内容选择疑问词,疑问词总是放在句首。
(2) 特殊疑问句不能用Yes或No回答,而要根据所提问的内容回答。
设计意图:充分调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,让学生自己观察、总结归纳语法规则,培养学生的学习力。
Step 3 Practice
Activity 1
1. Ss read the questions and answer them individually.
2. Ss match the questions with the answers.
3. T lets Ss check their answers in pairs and then elicits the answers.
4. T tells Ss to work in pairs and practice the questions and answers.
Activity 2
1. Ss read the example and think about what kind of information is in the answer.
2. T lets Ss complete the conversations individually.
3. Ss check answers in pairs and then T elicits answers from the whole class.

1. T lets Ss complete the sentences individually.
2. Ss check the answers with a partner.

2. Ss check their answers with a partner and then T checks the answers with Ss.

Step 4 Production
1. Ss work in pairs and make a dialogue using Wh- questions.
2. T invites two pairs to present their conversations to the class.
