Step 1 Warming-up
1. Ss read the sentences and fill in the blanks.
2. Learn the background knowledge about the Internet.
设计意图:通过复习上一课时学的一般现在时的特殊疑问句,温故知新。再通过了解有关因特网的应用的相关知识,帮助学生顺利进入本课学习。
Step 2 Presentation
Around the world
1. Show the picture of the first computer and talk about it.
2. Ss read the passage about the first computer.
Step 3 Practice
1. Read the passage and complete the sentences.
3. T checks the answers with the Ss.
4. T lets Ss read the passage again together.
设计意图:通过阅读学生可以了解计算机的历史。
Step 3 Production
Activity 5
1. T puts Ss in groups of three and tells them to think of their own questions.
2. T tells Ss to draw a table like the one in the book and fill in their questions.
Activity 6
Ss stand, walk around and work with the whole class, asking and answering questions in Activity 5 and making notes of the answers.
Activity 7
1. Ss work in groups and make a survey about Ss and computers, using the notes they made in.
2. T lets the group leaders stand and tell the class about their group’s findings.
设计意图:小组合作完成一份本班学生电脑使用情况的调查报告,把课本的内容与学生的实际生活相结合,既提高了学生的学习兴趣,又能锻炼学生的合作和实践能力,同时复习巩固了本模块的目标语言。
