III.Teaching procedures
Step 1 Greet the students
1. Look at the pictures and talk about the weather.
2. Brain-storming
(1)What kind of pollution is it
(2)What should we do to improve our environment
The purpose: to lead to the topic, to let the students warm up and get the background information.
According to the pictures,students can talk about the environmental protection by using the new words , to overcome the difficulties of listening.
Step 2 Prediction
look at the picture in Section A and guess what they are doing
The purpose: To draw Students attention and arouse interests;
Step 3 While- listening
Listen to la and answer the questions:

2. Should we use both sides of paper
The purpose: let the students listen and get the key information.
Step 4 Listen to la carefully and fill in the blanks.

2.Sort them according to"Reduce,Reuse,Recycle"and make a dialog in pairs,using the following sentences.
