知识与技能 通过阅读了解中国古代神话故事用英文的表述方式，在阅读中强化学生对故事的了解。
情感态度 乐于将中国文化通过英语传播到世界各地。

文化意识 通过学习神话故事了解中国文化。
学情分析：
已有基础 语言知识 学生对于用英语介绍中国传统经典故事已经有了一定的了解，且对于本堂课要讲的孙悟空有非常深入的了解，所以本堂课在理解上对于学生来说难度不大。通过前两个章节的学习，学生已经基本能用英语叙述一些简单的中国神话故事，了解了一些中国古代神话故事的英文表述。通过《愚公移山》等神话故事的学习，已经理解故事叙述的基本要素(time, place, character, event)，已能初步懂得运用合理的时态、借助连词(as soon as, unless, but, so, finally)完成故事叙述。本课应继续强化训练，学生用英语讲中国故事。重点在阅读后的语言输出。
思维能力 能根据上下文语境，构词法知识，推断理解单词词义；能阅读生词量不大的英文读物，理解大意，获取相关信息；能尝试对故事发表自己的见解，学会多角度看待问题。
学习策略 能根据不同阅读目的选择对应的阅读策略，具备初步的猜词意识。
存在困难 1）不能快速、准确地抓住阅读中的关键信息，缺乏归纳梳理信息的能力，批判性思维能力仍然有待提高。2）用自己的语言准确、全面的介绍中国神话故事存在一定的困难。

教学流程

观看三段《西游记》的英文小视频。激活学生已有的背景知识；激发学生兴趣，感受语言学习的乐趣和魅力——用英语，讲中国故事，传播弘扬中国文化。
视频观看完成后，学生看图，教师逐步设问，启发学生联想“猴王”的相关英文表达，呈现部分核心词汇或表达，为阅读本文了解新知做相应铺垫。
