一、教材分析
本单元是初中学段最后一个单元,主要围绕“school days”这个话题展开教学,旨在让学生回忆初中四年的美好时光,同时复习巩固一些重要的语法项目。本节课的主要任务是通过阅读学习欣赏诗歌,复习几种初中阶段常用的时态,让学生总结自己的初中生活。
2、学情分析
九年级的学生,对四年的初中生活充满回忆,对未来充满希望,本节课要学习的诗歌非常贴近学生生活。学生已经系统学习了初中阶段的语法知识,积累了一定的语言基础,在教学中要根据学生的具体情况,适当地引导学生正确地用英语表达自己的观点。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标: To learn the poem “I remember”; to review some grammar about tenses(the simple present tense, the simple past tense ,the simple future tense, the present continuous tense ,the present perfect tense).
2. 能力目标: To talk about past memories and future by using tenses exactly;To learn to appreciate English poetry.
3. 情感目标: To make students value junior high school life,be hopeful about the future.

(设计意图:通过一个与“毕业”有关的视频导入,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时引起学生对初中生活的回忆,之后展开“free talk”,问题的设计承上启下,使学生有话可说,有感而发。)

Step1. Task 1. Skimming
Read the passage and answer the questions.

(设计意图:“Skim”为新授的第一个环节,通过略读来找出文章的主要信息:体裁、主题、作者。初步了解文章内容。学生自主完成这一任务,有利于养成独立思考的习惯。)

Tips: 英语诗歌小常识
1)有的英文诗分成几节(stanza),每节由若干诗行组成;有的诗不分节。
2)英文诗每行的第一个字母都大写,但是一诗行不一定是一个完整的句子,不一定能表达一个完整的意思。有时候,一行诗正好是一句,有时两行甚至许多行才构成一个意思完整的句子。
3)英文诗一般都押韵。常见的几种押韵方式:头韵是指一行(节)诗中几个词开头的辅音相同,形成押韵。押在诗行最后一个重读音节上,叫尾韵。这是英文诗歌最常见的押韵部位。也有不少英文诗是不押韵的,多用在戏剧和叙事诗中。

Listen to the passage recording, then read the poem with emotion, pay attention to the pronunciation, intonation and speed.
(设计意图:播放诗歌的录音,让学生模仿朗读,体会其中的情感,通过比赛的形式提高学生的学习积极性和朗读能力。)

Step7. Task 7. Number the sentences to make a paragraph.
