1、教学对象分析（Teaching objects analysis）
九年级的学生经过两年的初中英语学习，绝大部分同学已具备一定的听、说、读、写能力。能听懂简单故事的情节发展，理解其中主要人物和事件；能在教师的帮助下或根据图片用简单的语言描述图片或参与角色扮演等活动；能从文章中找出有关信息，理解大意，并预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局。但是学生两极分化的现象也比较严重，教师在教学中，要善于针对不同层次的学生，设计出不同要求的各种教学活动和教学任务，让每个学生都可以感受到学习的成就感，并能在中考的压力之下，保持较旺盛的求知欲和持久的学习兴趣。
二、教材分析（Teaching material analysis）
本教学设计的内容是仁爱版九年级上册Unit 2 Topic 2 Section A —All these problems are very serious。上一个topic谈到环境污染的问题，并介绍了不同种类的污染，而Topic 2是前一个话题的继续，主要谈论关于环境污染所造成的危害。通过贴近生活的事件，向学生展示环境污染的危害，并进一步了解地球污染的一些情况，使学生提高环境保护意识。
三、教学目标（Teaching aims）
（一）语言知识 (language knowledge)：
1.学习新单词和重点词组：sand，sandstorm，although，desert，completely，as a result,cut down,blow away,wash away,stop from ...
2. 重点句型：
(1) Trees can stop the wind from blowing the earth away .
(2) A lot of water can be saved by the forests.
(3) Trees can also stop the water from washing the earth away.
(4) As a result, a lot of rich land has changed into desert.
(5) Although we have built “The Green Great Wall”,we still need to do something to protect the environment.
3. 语法项目：学习stop from doing的用法
（二）语言技能目标(language skills)
1. 听：能够听懂有关环境污染和环境保护的对话和短文。
2. 说：能就环保问题表达简单的观点和意见，能够朗读和表演有关环保的对话。
3. 读：能够流畅地朗读对话和短文。
（三）情感态度及价值观 (emotional attitudes and values)
1. 加深对环保问题的认知，树立环保意识。
2. 能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。
四、教学重点与难点（Teaching key points and difficult points）
Teaching key points：学习树的功能，并且学会表达关于保护环境的句子
Teaching difficult points：根据句意，填写出所给单词的正确形式

A tape recorder, PPT,some pictures and cards.
六、教学步骤（Teaching procedures）
Step 1 Lead-in (about 5 mins)
1.日常问候（Greetings）
2.课前热身（Warming-up）
把学生注意力转移到课堂上，同时穿插本文所涉及的环保主题，通过展示一些好环境和不好环境的图片，让学生意识到保护环境的重要性。

Step 2 Presentation (about 15 mins)
1.通过图片引入沙尘暴这一话题，学习新单词、新词组，同时把单词与练习相结合，加深对单词的记忆。
2.Find the functions of the trees in 1a
3.Learn the new phrases and say a sentence about these phrases in 1a.
4.Read 1a again and fill the blanks
Step 3 Listening (about 5mins)
1.Section A : ask the students to listen and choose the best answers. Listen again, and try to let the students repeat each sentence they hear. Then check the answers.
Step 4 Practice (about 15 mins)
1.Role- play (角色扮演1a的对话)
2. 小组合作，三个学生自愿到讲台上表演
3.结合中考题型，练习填写用所给词的正确形式来填空
Step 5 consolidation and homework (about 3 mins)
1.Consolidation:
复习本节课所学内容，新单词、新词组和有用的句型结构。
2.Homework:
要求学生做一个保护环境的事，并在班上进行宣传，从身边的小事呼吁更多的人参与到保护环境这个过程中。
七、教学反思
通过本部分的学习，学生应基本掌握单词词、词组和句型使用。因此，老师可以对所学内容所涉及到的语法知识进行总结和归类，以帮助学生理解记忆和巩固。
