V. Teaching procedures
Stage 1(10 minutes): Revision and Pre-listening

Duty report Invite some students to do duty report.Make comments on their performance. Then review some key points in SA Some students are required to do duty report, while others watch and review some key points in SA. Review the key points in SA.
2.Warm-up and new words(Class activity) Present some pictures to teach them new words. Ask students to finish exercise 2a on page 66. Get them to be familiar with some body language Complete the exercise and learn some new words. Imitate some basic gestures. Get students to learn new words with the help of pictures.
3.A guessing game(group competition and pair work) Ask students to take part in a guessing game to get the points. Work in pairs and play the guessing game. Lead in the topic. Develop their cooperation, and review some body language.
Stage 2(8 minutes): While-Listening

1.Extensive listening(Class activity) Present students with an exercise, and summarize some gestures in 1a. Students finish the task and get familiar with these gestures. Get students to learn some gestures in 1a.
Intensivelistening(Class activity) Present a pre-listening task:1b Listen to 1a and mark T (true) or F (False). Get familiar with the exercise and make preparation for the listening. Help students to get ready for the listening with the help of the pre-listening task.
Stage 3(15 minutes): Speaking

1 Practice(Class activity) Practice Ask students to follow the video to practice the dialogue sentence by sentence. Then ask them to practice in group freely for three minutes. Students practice the dialogue in group for three minutes. Practice can help students master 1a better.
2Competition(Group work) Ask three groups to choose one tasks.( different points for different tasks) Students complete different tasks according to their choices. Develop their cooperation and creativity.
Challenge Ask students to make up their own dialogues using body language. Choose two groups only. Students work in group for the challenge. Develop their cooperation and creative thinking.
Stage 5(10 minutes): Post-listening and speaking

(They have previewed a micro lesson about body language) Point out body language is a part of culture. Then invite some of them to share their reports with the whole class.
