Step1 Warm up
Ask the students to talk freely something about dinosaurs and tell about how they extincted.
There were a lot of kinds of dinosaurs.Some dinosaurs are small,and some are big.Some eat meat and some eat leaves.
Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals that were the dominant(占主导地位的) terrestrial(陆地的) vertebrates(脊椎动物) for over 160 million years, from the late Triassic(三叠纪) period (about 230 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous ((白垩纪)(about 65 million years ago). The extinction of most dinosaur species occurred during the Cretaceous–Tertiary (第三级)extinction event. Consequently, in modern classification systems, birds are considered a type of dinosaur — the only group of which that has survived to the present day.

Dear Sir/Madam,
As is known to all, a growing number of wild animals are dying out every year and some of them are decreasing rapidly in numbers. So how to protect the wildlife draws people 's increasing attention.
My advice is as follows. First of all , the government should set up some protection regions/zones/reserves for wild animals where no one can hunt them.Once found, he or she must be punished according to related laws. Besides, we would like to promote people's awareness of protecting wild animals by educating them that“No animals, no human beings.”Meanwhile, we had better not cut down as many trees as we wish for the forest is home to the wild animals. Last but not least, we are supposed not to buy products made of animals or kill them for their fur or meat.
Please help the wild animals and I am strongly convinced that only with your help will we live with them in peace .

I'll give each group an animal card .One group is a certain animal and the other groups WWF.You will have a competition.
Step 6 Conclusion
We'll summarize what we have learned in the class------the target languages and key points .
