Step 1: Warm up& Review Greeting. Hello boys and girls. I am so happy today. You can get the reason from my tip. The first tip is yummy! ( 通过互动带入新知Italian restaurant)Review. Use the PPT to tell a story about My Weekend. T: I went to the bookstore to buy some comic book and story book.( show the picture of bookstore) What can you do in book store. After buying , I am so hungry, so I want to eat some delicious food. Let me use the APP Mei Tuan to find some restaurant.
Step2: Presentation Teach the new word “ crossing” Use the picture of Mei Tuan App. Then Show the picture of the location of the Italian restaurant. T: Oh, I get a good Italian restaurant. Let’s find it by the GPS. Go to the Crossing at first. Crossing Do you know where the crossing is ( Show the picture of crossing) If you want pass the crossing, please read it loudly!Teach the new word “ turn left ” . Use the picture of “turn left”. T: You are so great. We have passed the crossing.Let’s go next! Aha, there is a corner! Let’s turn left. (使用手势向同学们提示left 和right) Play a game: I say left you show right.Teach the new word “go straight”. Show the picture of “ go straight”. Use the game to practice. And help students to distinguish the direction.Teach the new word “turn right” Show the picture of turn right on PPT. And repeat the words. T: Oh, it is the last corner! Do you remember that we have pass( 使用PPT翻页,将之前的图片调出来,将位置图标出,并使用Google地图将相关街景展示。)a crossing,a left corner, and a right corner! 通过设置导航带路的情景,让新知更加贴近生活。利用Let’s learn板块的图片创设情境导入,为下一环节即将学习的指路内容设置话题背景。利用形象直观的图片辅助说明,帮助学生理解词义,适时拓展相关单词和词组,丰富学生语言表达。
Step 3: Practice Sharp eyes Show the picture of new words,students need to read it loudly and correctly.Little tour guide. Student need to practice to how to be a good tour guide of Oliver with partner.And then show the picture of Beijing on the PPT. Invite two students to express,the student need to say the place he want to go,and the other student need to answer. 快速反应以及小组竞赛活动,会让学生兴致勃勃地积极参与,同时也能帮助学生加深对核心词汇的理解和记忆。 看图指路的活动能有效地帮助学生操练本课的核心句型。
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension Introduce a popular place in your hometown.T:You’ve prepared a hand-drawn map of a popular place in your hometown. Come to the front and present your map. Make a brief introduction. Lead us to have a good visit of it. I think we’ll visit it one day.Emotional education Let students to watch a video about Chinese scenery.3. Make a summary.⑦Lead students to make a summary of this class. Let them conclude the key words and sentence structures they’ve learned. Lead students to learn to read the maps and be brave to ask for directions when they don’t know the way.
