语法:where定语从句修饰抽象名词
当 point,stage,situation,case,scene,
activity,position,job,degree,news,fact,atmosphere等抽象名词作先行词,关系词引导定语从句时,若在定语从句中作地点状语,应由 where引导定语从句。
The boss of the company is trying to create an easy atmosphere where his employees enjoy their work.
这家公司的老板正设法创造一种轻松的气氛,使员工们喜欢他们的工作。
注意:如果以上先行词在从句中作主语宾语表语,则用which/that。有些具体指物的名词如picture,book等,如果有地点的意义,且作状语,也用where。
