掌握本课重点词汇:transportation、hometown、seldom、rapid等。

学习以下句型的用法

学会用英语问他人或向他人介绍常见交通运输工具。

1、Learn the new words one by one. Teach the students to read the new words.
2 Ask the students to read the words.
Step4. Ask the students to listen to the dialogue carefully and write true or false.(3MINUTES)

Step5. Language points(8MINUTES)
1.But that would take a long time.
但是那会花费很长时间。
在此句中take作动词,意为“花费”, 常用句式:It takes / took sb. some time to do sth.意为 “某人做某事花费多长时间”。其中, it作形式主语, 真正的主语是后面的动词不定式to do sth.。如:
It took me two hours to write the letter.
写这封信花了我两个小时的时间。
2. Danny likes to travel on foot.
丹妮喜欢步行旅游。
【拓展】 使用交通工具的表达方式:
a. 动词表达法。如walk(步行), ride(骑), take(乘)等。如:
I walk to school every day.
我每天步行去学校。
b. by+交通工具,如:
I go to school by bike every day.
我每天骑自行车上学。

Divide the class into small groups. Ask the students to finish the dialogue :
Then ask volunteers to come to the front to show their results. When they make mistakes, the teacher must correct them. Let the students ask and answer in pairs.

四:Teaching Reflection:
通过这节课,学生的学习兴趣被调动了起来,很多学生主动的举手,表达自己的想法。本课内容也贴近学生实际,学习起来较容易,大多数都能掌握所学单词和句型,个别同学主谓一致掌握的不是太好, 应再练习。
在教学过程中,我采用了情景交际法,同学们在游戏中学会了很多东西, 这既是他们的收获, 也是他们的快乐。也有几个学生未能很好的完成对话和朗读训练。
