Unit 3 Topic 3 What would you like to drink
Section A
I. Material analysis
本课是第三话题的第一课,主要活动是1a,3和4a。是一节听说课。通过康康邀请同学在家就餐的情景呈现主要教学内容,学习有关询问吃什么喝什么的表达以及常用的就餐用语,同时借助图片学习食物名词的表达,并初步了解可数名词和不可数名词的用法和区别。
II. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims
复习新单词:would, yourself, fish, chicken, rice, drink, juice, milk, water, vegetable, bread, hamburger, idea;
能借助图片学习食物的表达,并初步了解可数名词与不可数名词的用法并掌握其一般用法;
能掌握含有would like表达就餐意愿的表达法,
如:—What would you like to have
—I’d like …
在教师的帮助与指引下,通过对话操练、听力训练等活动学习、操练并巩固就餐用语,如:
(1)—What would you like to drink —Apple juice, please.
(2)—Would you like some eggs, Maria —No, thanks.
(3)—Help yourselves! —Thank you.
(4)—What about some... —Good idea!
(5)—I would like an egg and some fish.
2. Skill aims
能听懂有关饮食、就餐等的简单对话;
能就饮食进行交流并会使用常用的就餐用语;
能写出食物名词和常用的就餐用语。
3. Emotional aims
在学习过程中,创设真实的情景,并采用趣配音、小组竞赛,表演,chant等灵活多样的授课方式,激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和积极主动的学习精神;
鼓励学生积极大胆,敢于模仿,增强学生学好英语的信心;
培养学生养成有礼貌地待人接物的习惯和素养。
号召全班同学们一起宣誓:节约粮食,拯救生命!提倡光盘行动!反对浪费!

食物图片、多媒体,黑板,彩色铅笔和磁铁吸等。
教学过程设计
步骤一:导入:师生问答T: Boys and girls, this Thursday is a very important day, do you know what it is S:Thanksgiven Day.T:What can we do on this day (教师呈现感恩节食物的图片引导学生回答)S: We can enjoy delicious food.S: We can say “thank you” to our friends, our teachers and our parents.T:I will invite a student to say “thank you” to her mom.邀请一位同学上来配音 :“I love you, mom”。同学们听之前先给一个问题,让同学们带着问题认真听:what' s the baby's favorite food 设计意图:刚好上课那周是感恩节,用感恩节引出很多食物的新单词,并且可以进行一定的情感教育:对身边的家人朋友说谢谢. 这也是在教授西方的文化。紧接着的趣配音极大的调动了学生的学习热情,原来学习英语是可以如此立体,有趣。步骤二:呈现1.用头脑风暴的方式分food, drink, fruits三个部分复习关于食物的名词。然后玩一个Whack-A-Mole(打地鼠)的游戏进一步巩固这些新单词。游戏热身以后是妙趣横生的”food show time” 。两位同学精彩演绎Mr. Hamburger 和Mr. Orange的搞笑对话。设计意图:将本节课即将复习的几个关键的食物单词以头脑风暴的方式呈现在屏幕上,其实也是本节课的重点归纳,学生看的清楚,明了。教师授课时也会能做到条理清晰,脉络完整。打地鼠的游戏极大的调动了学生们的参与热情,他们都纷纷举手,主动参与课堂。Mr. Hamburger 和Mr. Orange的逗趣配音让同学们大笑不止,课堂变得轻松活泼。2. Look at the pictures in 3. Match the words with the pictures individually. Then divide the words into countable nouns and uncountable nouns with your partner. Try to find the rules of countable nouns and uncountable nouns.Countable nouns: bananas, vegetables, eggs, hamburgers, bananasUncountable nouns: water, milk, juice, rice, bread, chicken, fish步骤三:巩固:设计意图:归纳可数名词和不可数名词是本课重点。让同学们自己找规律,自己发现形式上的不同之处,这样可以自然习得二者的区别。为接下去学它们的用法奠定基础。1..Look at the pictures of food and drinks. Answer the teacher’s questions about having a meal.T: Would you like some eggs Ss: Yes, please.T: Would you like some rice Ss: No, thanks.T: What would you like to eat/drink Ss: I would like/ I’d like some rice/some juicer, please.Do pair work with the partner. Eg. A: Would you like some--- B: No, thanks.A: What would you like to eat/drink B: I would like/ I’d like---.设计意图:would like 的句型是本课的一个难点,先通过师生问答,引出,接着教师继续示范,然后让学生做两两操练,直至熟练掌握。2.Do 1a. Look at the picture in 1a. Try to predict what the conversation is about. Listen to the conversation and complete the table in 1b. Check the answers with your partner. Then read 1a after the tape. And then learn the useful expressions in detail. Practice the dialogue in a group of four and then try to act it out. Invite some groups to have a role-play.设计意图:这节是听说课,这一步骤设计了大量的听说训练让同学们操练。课文跟读,泛读,精读的有机结合也能够使学生更好的理解和掌握课文。最后的角色扮演激发进一步巩固了对课文的理解。步骤四:总结We learn: countable nouns and uncountable nouns. Would you like--- What would you like to eat/ drink 总结主要是通过一个游戏和一个“chant”来呈现的。设计意图:总结可数名词和不可数名词时,设计了一个游戏“good memory”用游戏的方式来总结,同学们印象更为深刻。复习would like 句型的时候,设计了一个chant.先让两位同学上台边模仿边唱。接着邀请全班一起来唱。朗朗上口的旋律,夸张的动作,惟妙惟肖的模仿,这一段将课堂气氛推到高潮。这段“chant”的名字是:What would you like for dinner tonight”。里面会一直重复呈现这个句型和大量关于食物的名词,是本节课最好的总结。步骤五:教学延伸:在本节课的最后,教师展示了几副贫困地区缺乏食物的照片,孩子们自己富足的生活和贫困地区孩子的生活形成强烈的对比,这样强烈的对比使得学生们都想做点什么。教师号召全班同学:Save our food, save their lives! 号召他们庄严宣誓:Clean our plates!
