本课是九年级第三单元第三话题的第三课时。主活动是1a。1a 通过小组汇报分享学习英语的经验，老师补充总结，让学生从中获得学习英语的策略。重点在于巩固和运用1a的重点用语。要求学生学以致用，体现“在做中学”的理念。学生在学习英语时大都会碰到相似的困难，因而本课对英语学习具有较好的借鉴意义。本课还可以让学生知道分享学习经验也是一种快乐。

继续运用构词法来猜测本课新词的含义，尝试用英语解释新单词。
学习运用scanning，来迅速找到所需要的信息。

Step 1 Warming-up and leading-inGreeting.Leading-in: A short play Group work 通过学生自己编排的小短剧，生动的刻画出一个很努力的学渣因为学英语不得法而倍感挫折，这节课的目的就是要通过文本的学习来解决同学们学习过程当中实际遇到的困难。通过短剧表演的方式，有趣，生动，激发了学生的学习热情。
Step2 Pre-readingGet the students to have a review of our class meeting Class workGroup work 用图片回顾上周班主任刘老师召开的期中考总结班会来引导学生关注班会五大要素。
Step 3: While-reading Underline the new words or phrases in the passage. Then guess the meanings of these words. Discuss in groups. Try to express them in English. Work aloneGroup work 教师用构词法引导学生尝试英英释义新单词，旨在培养学生们的英语思维。也可以借助字典，但是要用简单的英语去解释他们。勇敢尝试的同时也可以降低难度，引导学生勤用工具书。
Step 4: While-reading Watch the video And finish your mind map Work alone 用思维导图的方式处理文本，直观，具体。完成导图的过程也是学生梳理文本的过程。文本知识的内化为接下去学以致用做了很好的铺垫。做完思维导图也可以引导学生互相分享，学习。
Step 5: Post-reading Get to know the difficulties your group members have and mark their names on the blank. Each group chooses a difficulty from the balloon. Discuss in the group and then make a report. Work aloneGroup work 统计小组成员学英语的困难并写下名字，为接下去对症下药帮助提供建议打下铺垫。教师通过这一步骤也可以直观地看出哪部分问题最多。通过表格引导学生归纳英语学习过程中的6大问题。将文本里面比较零散的问题一一归类，为下步解决困难做好准备。每个小组通过击破气球的方式抽签获得6大类困难中的某一类并且对这类进行详细有效的讨论并形成报告在全班呈现。这一步骤就是将文本所学转换成解决学生实际问题的过程。
Step 6: Post-reading Think about: Why do we learn English Work alone 教师通过提问让学生思考既然英语如此难学，为什么我们要学英语呢？让学生自由提出自己的看法。教师通过播放TED的演讲视频引导学生新时期要培养全球观和发展的英语思维。让本课所学知识得到运用和升华。
