Unit2 Topic3 What can we do at home to protect the environment? SectionB 教学设计
I. Material analysis:
本课是九年级第二单元第三话题的第二课时。首先用最近热门的节目《奔跑吧!兄弟》其中有一期以环保为主题在网络掀起了热议来引起话题,进而设计了五个任务,分别为“Look for our bad habits”来复习做到温故而知新,提出解决方案“What should we do to be a greener person 进而教授新单词和新句型同时打开学生的思维让学生体验中感悟语言的表达,进而通过Jane 告诉Michael怎样才能成为一个环保人士来继续学习提建议表达方式,向学生继续传递更多的环保理念。接下来号召学生从垃圾分类这个小事做起,引导学生进行垃圾分类尝试,通过听说结合的教学过程,让学生的小组互动讨论中获得独特的体验,在讨论环保号召书中生成新知识,新体验,最终制做一张环保号召书,这个小组活动实际由两部分组成:讨论和汇报。本课的各个环节都在传递环保理念,这对学生的环保意识的培养是非常有意义的。
II. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge objectives:
(1)学生能够掌握本课新的词汇,句型及谚语。

(2)学生能够归纳总结表达自我观点和建议的表达方式,如

(3)学生能够通过句型的再现进一步掌握祈使句,如
Don’t buy cups or boxes which can be used only once.
Use both sides of the paper.
2.Learning strategy development objectives:
(1) 借助图片,学生能在语境中掌握词汇和词组的用法。
(2)学生能通过听力材料1a 获取有关在不同场所可采取的不同的环保方式的信息,提高通过听获取信息的听力技能。
(3)能够运用本课所学的内容,通过小组的讨议并制作一张环保号召书。
3. Cultural awareness and thinking ability objectives:
通过创设情景,通过师生互动,生生间的互动讨论怎样才能成为更环保的人,学生能够提升本课的口语交际能力并能对如何成为一名环保卫士做出自己相应的思考,并通过垃圾分类引导学生从身边的小事做起,能提高环保节能的意识,做到从身边的小事做起。
III. Teaching process:
Stage 1: Warm up
Show the picture of the TV program—Running Man. Then lead in the topic of this Section“How to be a greener person ”
T:Our school has founded an environmental protection club. Do you want to join it
Ss: Yes…
T: If you want to join it, you need to finish four tasks to pass the test.
设计意图:借助最近在网络上引起热议的娱乐节目中《奔跑吧!兄弟》中的一期《奔跑吧!环保》引发话题,取材贴近学生的生活,更能激发学生学习的兴趣,同时创设情景,学校成立环保俱乐部,让学生身临其境。
Stage 2: Pre- listening
1. Task One: Look for our bad habits which are harmful to our earth.
Show some pictures of the bad things which are harmful to the earth. Then lead students to say. For example:
Throw litter here and there; Waste water; Cut down too many trees.
Then lead students to speak more bad things which are harmful to the earth. At last tell students that we ought not to do them.
设计意图:让学生自查身边不利于环保的不良生活习惯,引导学生对旧的知识进行回顾,为后面新课知识的学习进行铺垫。
2. Task Two: What should we do to be greener people
(1)Show some pictures to teach new words and phrases. Then lead students to include the sentences of giving advice.
设计意图:学习生词及关键句型,为学生的后面的听力活动做好语言准备,同时学习更多有关环保的知识,起到导入话题和展示的作用。
(2)Finish 2
Choose the correct verbs or phrases to complete the statements. Then match them with the right pictures.
设计意图:巩固新学的重点单词和词组,为学生提供具体的语境,让学生在语境中掌握词和词组的用法,进一步学习环保的生活方式,号召学生让低碳生活成为一种时尚。

Encourage the students to speak out more greener lifestyles.
设计意图:通过头脑风暴,引导学生运用前面所学的语言知识,个性化,有创意地说更多的环保的生活方式,突出语言和思维的的训练,重在培养创造性思维能力。
Stage 3 While-listening
Task Three: Let’s learn more how to be greener people from Jane
1. Listen to 1a and choose the correct answers.
2.Listen to 1a twice and complete the table. Finish 1c.
3. Read 1a together and retell it.
设计意图:训练学生从听力材料中获取有关在不同场所可采用的不同的环保信息,同时获取对话的大意,通过不同的听力任务提高学生关于该话题的听力技能, 同时也向学生继续传递更多的环保理念。
Stage 4 Post-listening
1. Task Four: Let’s be greener people from a small thing.
Encourage the students to sort the garbage.
设计意图:进行首尾呼应,倡导学生从垃圾分类这个小事做起。
2. Task Five: Work in groups and make a proposal
Ask the students to discuss in groups, then make a proposal to call for more people to be greener people. Before writing, show the structures to help them finish the proposal.
设计意图:主要引导学生进行语言输出,从号召书的制作,进行口语交际,表达自我观点,提高口语交际能力同时也提高了学生就该话题进行书面表达的能力。
3. Lead the students to make promises.
设计意图:使本课的环保主题得到进一步升华。
