教学目标 Teaching Aims:1. Knowledge Objective(知识目标):a. New words: rubbish, fold, sweep, floor. New phrases: take out the rubbish, do the dishes, sweep the floor, make your bed, clean the living room .b. Sentences: A:Could you please… B:Yes, sure./ No problem./ Of course. Sorry, I can’t. I am going to…/ I have to…2. Ability Objective(能力目标):1) To enable the students to grasp the new words and phrases.2) To enable the students to grasp the use of “could”.3. Emotional Objective(情感目标):1) To enable the students to express their love for their parents.2) To develop the students’ sense of cooperative learning. Let them taste the pleasure from team work and success.
教学重点 Teaching Important Points:运用Could you please....创设情境进行交际。
教学难点 Teaching Difficult Points:To enable the students to grasp the sentence pattern.To enable the students to use the phrases to talk about housework.
教材分析 本课是Unit 3的Section A部分。其主目标是能用Could you please… 谈论如何委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可,及回答语"Sure./Certainly./I’m glad to."能礼貌地拒绝,"Sorry, I can’t. I have to do..."并表达自己的理由,陈述自己的好恶。以do housework做力所能及的事为话题,学会这些句型加以运用,完成本课的语言目标。
学情分析 本单元通过学习如何礼貌的提出请求和征询许可,逐步引出情态动词could,进一步学习如何与人有礼貌地交往。并试着熟悉一些常用短语,体验家务劳动,从而使学生乐于体验生活,积极参加各种实践活动。

教学方法 Teaching Methods: 1、情景交际法(Scene teaching method):本单元话题源自生活,立足这一点,充分利用学生已有的知识和经验,创设生活化的真实情境,引导学生在运用中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学,在用中学,学了能用)。任务型语言教学法(Task-based language teaching method):设计多种任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习。开放性教学策略(Open teaching method):教师要开放性地处理教材,结合教材插入学生感兴趣的图片等,丰富学生知识,拓宽他们视野,实现知识的整合。
教学步骤 教学内容 设计意图
Step1 Step1.播放<<灰姑娘>>视频,导入话题。 (一) 以视频引入,老师问学生“Have you ever seen Cinderella ” 学生回答“Yes” (二) 导入课题,老师问“What’s she doing ”学生回答“She is sweeping the floor/She is cleaning the room.”从而导入新课题《Could you please clean your room 》 引起学生的学习兴趣,给出本节课的重点句型也就是课题,引出本节课的重点短语。
Step2 Step2.(一)展示Cinderella and her stepmother 的图片 T:There was a little girl named Cinderella.Her mother passed away. She has a stepmother and two sisters, her stepmother made her do a lot of housework. (二)展示 Cinderella做各种家务的图片 T: Cinderella is very busy.What chores does she do 通过图片来学习 do the dishes,make your bed ,clean the living room, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, sweep the floor, fold your clothes 这些短语。 (三)Play games 通过两种不同的游戏形式对短语进行巩固。 1.challenge themselves2.抢答的方式猜图片 先利用视频展示进行新短语和句型的引入,让学生熟悉。一边学习一边操练,学生可以边学边用。可以发散学生思维,以免学生思维定式。
Step3 Step3. Morality Education(道德教育)We love our parents. We should help them do the chores. 教育学生们体谅父母,要帮助父母分担家务。
Step4 Step4.Work in pairs(合作学习)1. Let the students read the phrases in 1a and then make some conversations by using the phrases.
2. Then finish listening about part 1b.
3. Read the conversations in 1c.
4. According to the conversation, let the students make a new conversation that works in pairs. The new conversation is about housework. They can use the following sentence patterns:A:Could you please… B:Yes, sure./ No problem./ Of course. Sorry, I can’t. I am going to…/ I have to… 学生和同桌谈论做家务,并且这样更形象,更贴近生活,学生更容易接受,加强了学生间的合作与交流。学生先进行简单的填词与模仿,有利于在后面对话中进行创新。通过这一活动,培养学生的多种能力,使学生在掌握一定的英语基础知识和基本技能,能与同伴成员合作共同完成学习任务,发展语言的综合运用能力,并创造性地使用英语表达自己的思想。
Step5 Step5.Summary(总结)1.总结本课的重点单词和短语。2.总结情态动词could 的用法。3.以一个当堂小题来检测学生们是否掌握了情态动词could的用法 在总结课堂所学的同时,让学生将所学到的知识在实践中加以应用。
