优课教学设计
本单元开始出现小说阅读,单元话题是:talk about recent events and experiences。学生在学习该单元时,需要接触大量的与话题相关的词汇及背景知识。本节阅读课根据单元话题和学习需求,通过创设具体情境,进行文化背景的渗透,引导学生进行语言学习和阅读技巧的训练,讲练结合,使得学生掌握语言知识和实用的阅读技能,并能用以实践。
教材分析(和整合)
该单元的语言目标是:talk about recent events and experiences。学生在学习该单元时,需要接触大量的与话题相关的词汇及背景知识。这是一节主题为“The story About Music”的阅读课,采用任务型教学,创设情境为“音乐电台的DJ引导听众了解乡村音乐及文化背景——分享听众Sarah与乡村音乐结缘的故事——分享听众(学生)的故事”,分为读前、读中和读后三个环节,在学习中渗透人文素养,引导学生意识到音乐的重要性。
1.读前环节,围绕文本话题,启动先行认知,在文化背景和语言知识两方面,为阅读扫除一定的障碍。
2.读中环节,梳理文本内容,凸显主线learn about country music——share Sarah’s story——know Sarah’s dream。围绕主题进行阅读训练,并使用阅读技巧(Prediction, Skimming, Scanning)完成阅读任务。
3.读后环节,引导学生结合原有认知,对文本进行概述(Summarizing)。然后,从学生情感的共鸣点进行设问,引导学生完成主题任务(make your story record)。
