Let's retell the passage.
形容词,意为 有用的。是由“名词use (使用) +ful”构成,意为“有用的”。类似结构还有: help + ful → helpful

Language points
1. The teacher says it is useful, but I think it is difficult.
[注意] useful是虽以元音字母“u”开头,但其发音为辅音/ju:/,故其前用冠词a,而不用an。
例:It is a useful book. 这是一本有用的书。
from … to …
从……到…… 是介词短语,
用来表述时间、地点等范围。
eg.We go to school from Monday to Friday.
我们从星期一到星期五去上学。
2. Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:00...
添加小标题
作形容词,意为“有趣的”
eg.Music is fun.
3. Our Chinese teacher, Mrs. Wang, is great fun.
作不可数名词,意为“有趣的事物(人)”。
在这种用法中,fun 前面可有great/good等词修饰。
eg.Tom’s good fun.汤姆是个很有趣的人。

②当表示“某种技能、技巧性的课程”时,常用lesson,较少用class。eg.piano lessons钢琴课,driving lessons驾驶课
lesson还可意为“经验、教训”,常构成短语teach sb. a lesson
“给某人一个教训”。
