While I was reading, the man beside me said hello to me politely. I didn't greet him because my mother had told me not to talk with strangers on the train. After ten minutes, the man asked me where I was going. I thought it was impolite to say nothing, so I answered him. Then he started talking with me. He told me that he could tell a lot about a person by looking into his or her eyes. Being interested in what he said, I asked him to say something about me.
I was surprised when I heard his guesses about me. Most of what he said was the truth. I do have a younger brother and he actually causes my parents many problems. He also told me that my parents were probably in poor health. How amazing! His guesses were completely right. Seeing my surprising expression, the man was very happy and proud. Before leaving each other, I asked him his name. He told me that he was Peter.
After the eight-day trip I returned home. I told my brother about Peter. Hearing what I had described, my brother laughed. "How stupid you are! 3. Health is at the forefront of everyone's minds these days... increasing desire to promote good health while getting outside...(如今,健康是每个人心中最重要的问题,而且可以肯定的是,这一问题还将持续很长一段时间。 故选A。
4~6. C、B、A
While I was reading, the man beside me said hello to me politely(我读杂志时,旁边的乘客礼貌地和我打招呼)可知当时她在读杂志,故选C。
