Hometown Feelings教学设计
一、教材分析
内容分析:本节课是鲁教版八年级上册第八单元Section B阅读课。学生通过前两个单元的学习,对现在完成时态的用法已经有了一定的理解和在语境中运用的能力,也能够用简单的英语表达个人意见。
教材中Section A部分主要学会用含since和for的现在完成时表达人们的所有物情况,借yard sale这个情景来进行问答。在B部分而拓展为打工者离开家乡有很久一段时间,他的对家乡变化的感受。
体裁分析:文本采用了记叙的形式,以思乡之情为主题,介绍很多向钟伟一样的人,虽然离开家乡,但是非常关心着家乡的变化,同时内心对家乡怀有的眷恋之情。
语篇结构分析:文本是以情感为主线,从钟伟对家乡的惭愧之情,到对家乡的变化感到欣慰和高兴,以及最后对家乡怀有深深的眷恋的这种思乡之情贯穿全文。
语言特点分析:阅读材料包含了丰富的词汇,综合了一般过去时、现在进行时,现在完成时和一般将来时的使用进行变化描述。通过本单元学习能更深入理解现在完成时在生活中的运用。
写作意图:通过了解钟伟这个人物,理解人物生活中的思乡感受,渴望回家而又不能回的为难心里,是难点。在理解的基础上,以激励学生培养起爱家乡,为家乡奋斗的积极心理。
二、学情分析:
八年级学生的思维已经有了深入的发展,对问题的理解不再浮于表面,可以通过语境自己归纳总结规律,并能自主表达观点。通过前两个单元的学习,学生已经学习了系统的掌握了现在完成时的用法和掌握了不少词汇,而且也具备了一定的阅读能力。同时文本综合了一般过去时、现在进行时,现在完成时和一般将来时的使用进行变化描述。通过本节课学习能更深入理解现在完成时在生活中的运用。
本课时主要培养学生阅读和表达观点感受的英语语言运用能力的课。在阅读方面主要学习策略是训练读前预测的技巧,同时还渗透了引导学生利用已知知识猜测文章内容的的策略培养。能够根据不同时态,读懂发展的在时间方面的变化。能够通过分析文章细节,体会主人公的情感表达。通过了解钟伟这个人物,理解人物生活中的思乡感受,渴望回家而又不能回的为难心里,是难点。通过体会主人公的情感,激励学生培养起爱家乡,为家乡奋斗的积极心理。
三、教学目标: 
1. 能利用已有的背景知识,预测文章内容。
2. 能够在教师的指导下,通过快读、细读,在文章中快速、准确地获取所需信息,理解文本的内容的基础上体会思乡的情感。
3. 分析文章的体裁,根据思维导图的提示简要复述课文的内容;并根据提示分享自己家乡的美好回忆或者变化,珍惜现在美好的生活,努力学习,更好的为家乡建设做贡献。
四、教学重难点:
教学重点  
通过阅读有关离乡人对家乡的谈论,理解文章。  
教学难点  
体会思乡的情感。根据思维导图的提示简要复述课文的内容,分析文章的体裁;并根据提示分享自己家乡的美好回忆或者变化。
五、教学评价:

活动1:看图表,回答师的问题:从图表中你们能看出什么?并回答
老师对图表透漏出
现象的追问:为什么人们离开家乡?你认为他们多久回一次家?引出本节课话题。
活动2:根据文章中所给的线索预测文章的内容。
目标2评价:
活动1:快读文本,将文本分段并匹配每段大意。
活动2:细读第一段:钟伟外出打工。分析钟伟的自身情况。离家在外多年没回家,感到“ashamed”,就这个问题,追问钟伟是否关心自己的家乡。引出第二部分。
细读第二部分:家乡的变化。从家乡建设、老师的引进和学生的学习三方面来分析,总结钟伟很关心家乡的变化,体会他的思乡之情,而且这种思乡之情中包含家乡的甜美的回忆,引出第三部分:
细读思三部分:家乡的甜美回忆。通过分析学校对面的老树,进一步体会钟伟的思乡情感。
通过细读以上每部分,分析文章中的细节,在老师的引导下,由浅入深的体会细节中透漏出文中主人公的思想的情感。
目标3评价:分析文章体裁、通过Report同桌角色扮演钟伟和记者,进一步理解文章内容,引导学生更深一层体会思乡之情;分享自己家乡的美好回忆或者变化珍惜现在美好的生活,努力学习,更好的为家乡建设做贡献。

六、教学过程:

Why do they leave their hometowns Maybe to search for work to get money or to study to get better education......
How often do you think they return to their hometowns Once or twice a year.Maybe once or twice many years.
Today, I will introduce a person to you ,he has been away from his hometown for many years.

We should read the title first. According to the title, who can tell me what the passage is about

2. After reading the title,we can also look at the pictures. The pictures tell us :
S: The hometown has changed.

We can divide these four paragraphs into three parts:the first part is paragraph 1;the second part is paragraph 2&3;the third part is paragraph 4.
