一、教学理念:
根据新课标,教师应把握好教学设计的系统性、科学性、有效性;时间分配的合理性,知识传递的准确性,学生学习的高效性;培养学生发现问题、解决问题的能力,帮助学生养成独立思考、共同讨论、合作探究的习惯;同时培养学生综合运用语言的能力及互助创新能力,课后师生及时交流,教师反思。
二、教材分析
本单元主要通过学习“customs”这一话题而展开教学,使学生学会谈论不同国家的风俗习惯,如初次见面的礼仪、餐桌礼仪、时间观念等;学会使用"be supposed to"来表达在不同的场合应该做什么,不应该做什么;让学生了解各国的文化习俗、社交礼仪,使学生感受民族文化的魅力,提高对文明生活的认识,加深对各国不同文化差异的了解,学会尊重不同的文化,养成良好的行为习惯。
三、教学策略
教学设计力求活用教学方法,全方位、多角度、多层次调动学生的主动性、积极性、培养合作意识和探究能力,由点到面、循序渐进、环环相扣,让学生在轻松、活跃的气氛中完成本节课的学习内容。
四、教学目标
1.语言目标:
(1)能掌握以下单词:kiss, bow, table manners, chopstick, fork, spoon, napkin, greet, rude, point, stick, cheek, shake hands, custom,empty basic, exchange
(2)能掌握以下句型:

You’re not supposed to…

(3)能掌握以下语法:
学会be supposed to用法。
学会谈论不同国家的习俗礼仪。
2.能力目标:
学生能自如谈论和表达不同国家的习俗礼仪,能对东西方国家的习俗差异进行比较。
3.情感态度目标:
通过与同学交流,了解各国不同的文化习俗,养成良好的行为习惯。

1) 掌握本单元重点词汇。
2) 提高综合听说读写能力。

1. 运用所学内容谈论中西方文化、礼仪差异。

六、教法与学法
1.采用情境法、交际法和“任务型”教学途径,使“英语学习任务化,学习活动生活化”通过设置多样化的任务,巧妙注意任务的序列性,让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的生活任务,从而培养学生运用英语的能力。
2.充分发挥多媒体教学的优势,是课堂更生动形象,更为直观有趣,加深学生印象。
3.采用小组合作的学习方式,让学生学会交流,学会分享,学会合作。

Task 1 Revise how to use “be supposed to”
Step 1 be supposed to用法
● be supposed to短语中的to不是介词,是动词不定式符号,所以其后跟__________。
● be supposed to用来表达有责任或义务要做某事,按照自己预定的计划应该做或别人预期我们要做到的事,意为“___________________”,有时可与情态动词_______互换。
● be supposed to的否定结构是_________________,常用于口语中,意为“_______________________”

Task Four: Reading practice
Step 1. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms.
