Unit 3 Language in use 1
一、教学目标
1. 巩固本模块语法要点——“寻求建议和给出建议”的句型。
2. 能听懂有关学英语过程中遇到的问题。
3. 能谈论英语学习中的困难并提供建议。
4. 理解西方人如何提出建议;对照自己生活中的相关经历,学会恰当地征求和提出建议。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:熟练掌握有关表达建议的句型结构。
难点:正确熟练地运用所学句型进行情景交际。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体设备和课件;
2. 设计课后巩固练习;
3. 教学图片。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Talk about the pictures according to the expressions.
【设计意图】通过让学生根据图片信息和句型框架进行提问与回答,复习关于如何学英语的口语输出和语言运用能力。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Read the sentences and pay attention to the red words.
2. Learn the grammar points.
Why not + 动词原形
Why don’t we/you + 动词原形
How/What about + 动词-ing形式
It’s a good idea to do sth.
Try (not) to do sth.
Let’s + 动词原形.
You should/shouldn’t + 动词原形.
Shall we + 动词原形
We/You had better (not) + 动词原形.

Step 3 Practice
Activity 1~2
1. Listen and check the expressions of advice.
2. Listen again and answer the questions.
【设计意图】通过完成听力活动,帮助学生及时巩固表示建议的各类句型。
Activity 3~4
1. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and say what Jack usually does.
2. Think about the question: Do you think Jack’s habits are good And then complete the table.
【设计意图】通过描述杰克学习生活的6个不同场景,判断习惯的好坏,再鼓励学生大胆参与讨论,表达各自的看法,巩固学生对表达建议的语句的运用。
