一、教学目标
1. 熟练掌握下列词汇和短语:offer, end, at the end of, want to do sth., plan to do sth.等。
2. 掌握并运用下列句型:
I wanted to see some Beijing Opera.
Lingling offered to take me there.
We only planned to watch for an hour.
I hope to understand more next time.
3. 能够掌握动词不定式作宾语的用法。
4. 能够运用目标语言表达自己的意图和计划。

四、教学过程
Step 1. Warming-up
Look at the pictures and talk about them.
【设计意图】通过看图讨论周末计划,复现了本模块运用动词不定式表达计划的句型。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T ask Ss to read through the example sentences in the box. Remind them to pay attention to the colored words.
2. T get Ss to work in groups, observe the sentences carefully and try to sum up the use of infinitive.
3. T summarizes and consolidates the use of infinitive as objects.
【设计意图】以本单元的句子为引子,先让学生自己总结、归纳语法规则,然后教师归纳不定式作宾语的用法,帮助学生理清楚知识脉络。
Grammar points
常跟动词不定式作宾语的动词:need, refuse, forget, want, learn, try, hope/wish, help, agree, like, decide, begin/start。
Step 3 Practice
1. Do some grammar exercises and check the answers.
【设计意图】通过让学生做题巩固本节课的语法点。
2. Ask Ss to read the words in the box and the sentences. Make sure they know what to do.
3. Ss complete the sentences individually.
4. Ask Ss to read through the words in the box and the conversation first, then read the note to find out what are missing.
5. Tell Ss to complete the note individually. Remind them to put the words into the correct form.
【设计意图】围绕不定式作宾语的语法内容进行从易到难的层次性训练,旨在使学生通过充分的练习熟悉并掌握常接不定式作宾语的动词,并能在具体的语境中进行实际运用。
6. T asks Ss to complete the passage with the correct form of the words in brackets.
【设计意图】在语境中考查学生对动词不定式作宾语的掌握情况,同时引入不带to的动词不定式现象。
7. Get Ss to read the words and expression in the box. Then complete the passage by themselves.
【设计意图】考查学生在真实的语境中对词汇、短语的理解和运用。
8. T asks Ss to listen and choose the correct answer.
9. T lets Ss listen again and check (√) the true sentences.

10. Ask Ss to work in pairs to talk about their weekend plans and make some suggestions for each other.
11. Ask some pairs to talk about their plans.
