一、教学目标
1. 能准确地发音和使用本模块的词汇。
2. 能够掌握本模块的重点句子。
3. 能够在Around the world的模块中，了解不同颜色鲜花的含义以及送花的禁忌。
4. 能够掌握情态动词must / must not / can / can not / need / needn’t等的用法。
5. 能够通过本课的学习，提醒学生要尊重不同国家的风俗习惯，培养跨文化交际意识。
二、教学重点及难点
重点：掌握本模块的词汇和短语。
难点：能够使用情态动词来表述某地的风俗习惯。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体设备和课件；
2. 设计课后巩固练习；
3. 教学图片。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
Do some grammar exercises.
Step 2 Pre-reading
T asks Ss to make a fact book about cultures of English-speaking countries.

Step 3 While-reading
1. T lets Ss talk about the etiquette of sending flowers in the West.
2. T and Ss read and learn Around the world together.
