Who's Got Talent？
Everyone is good at something，but some people are truly talented. It's always interesting to watch other people show their talents. Talent shows are getting more and more popular. First, there were shows like American Idol and America's Got Talent. Now, there are similar shows around the world，such as China's Got Talent.
All these shows have one thing in common: They try to look for the best singers, the most talented dancers, the most exciting magicians, the funniest actors and so on. All kinds of people join these shows. But who can play the piano the best or sing the most beautifully That's up to you to decide. When people watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the winner. And the winner always gets a very good prize.
However, not everybody enjoys watching these shows. Some think that the lives of the performers are made up. For example, some people say they are poor farmers, but in fact they are just actors. However, if you don't take these shows too seriously, they are fun to watch. And one great thing about them is that they give people a way to make their dreams come true.
Language points
1. Who’s Got Talents 谁是达人？
who’s: who has的缩写
have got: “具有；具备” ，相当于have
字面上的意思是“谁有才华？”。
Have you got time I’ve got something important to tell you.你有时间吗？我有重要的事情告诉你。
2．It's always interesting to watch other people show their talents.
(2)watch是一个感官动词，意为“观看，注视”。常用结构：watch sb.do sth.看某人做某事(看事情发生的全过程)；watch sb.doing sth.看某人正在做某事。
(1)本句包含固定句型“It is +形容词+to do sth.”，意为“做某事是……的”。其中，it作形式主语，真正的主语是后边的不定式to watch other people show their talents。
It is great to go swimming in summer.夏天去游泳很不错。
除watch外，see、notice、hear、look at、listen to、feel等感官动词也有以上两种用法。
I saw him work in the garden yesterday.昨天我看见他在花园里干活了。
I saw him working in the garden at this time yesterday.昨天这个时候我看见他正在花园里干活。
辨析watch、look、see、read与notice
词条 用法 例句
watch 强调专注地观看，有欣赏的意味，常用于指看电视、比赛等。 They are watching the football match.
look 是不及物动词，后跟宾语时，要用介词at。它指有意识地看，强调看的动作。 Look at the blackboard please.
see 是及物动词，其后可直接跟宾语，强调看的结果。表示看医生、探望亲戚朋友、看电影也用see。 Can you see me？
read 常用于指看书、看报等。 Have you read this book？
notice 指注意看，或提醒别人注意看。 I noticed him entering the room at that time.

4. 辨析such as与for example
such as与for example都有“例如”的意思，但二者有所不同。
（2）for example一般只以同类事物或人中的“一个”为例，其后常接句子。作插入语时，用逗号隔开，可置于句首、句中或句末。
（1）such as用来列举同类人或事物中的几个例子，其后常接名词、代词、动名词等（同like “例如；像”）。
He likes fruit，such as apples and oranges.他喜欢水果，例如苹果和桔子。
