On Wednesday morning, a basketball match between the British team or our school team would be held on the playground. Final, everyone can come to enjoy the performances at the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. to be given by student from both countries.

A week before Earth Day, posters were put up around our school, calling (call) upon us to join in the actions for a greener (greener) earth.
Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. We brought (bring) worn-out clothes, pieces of cardboard and empty plastic bottles to our classroom, and turned those into dolls, handbags, tissue boxes and small vases. That weekend, we went to a nearby neighborhood and gave them away to the people there. All were very happy with those unexpected (expect) gifts, especially (especial)little kids and elderly people. My Weekend
Last weekend, my classmates and I went to Xinxing Farm by bike to pick strawberries.
Upon entering the farm, we were attracted by its cleanness and rich varieties of fruit. A guide led us to the strawberry field, where we saw fresh inviting red strawberries. We were told we could enjoy some newly-picked ones because they were poison-free. As requested, we began to pick strawberries with caution for fear that some plants were destroyed. About two hours later, with our baskets full, we went out, wearing tired but satisfied expressions.
This experience benefits me a lot. Not only do I feel the pains the farmers take but also the happiness that labor brings me.
