一.教学目标1、语言目标:(1)学习并掌握有关电视节目类型及表达喜好程度的单词和短语。(2)学习有关表达对不同电视节目的偏好的句型。2、能力目标:(1)能够获取听力材料的主要信息并进行提炼。(2)学会在实际生活中表达自己对事物的喜好并给出理由。(3)提高学生语言综合语言运用的能力。3、情感目标:学会谈论流行文化,了解各类电视节目的名称和谈论自己的喜好,注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念,形成自己独立的个性。二、教学重难点:1、能够正确使用news,sitcom,soap opera,game show...等节目的词汇。2、学生能正确使用句型:What do you think of... 及灵活运用主语 like/love/don’t like/don’t mind/can’t stand 宾语结构表达对电视节目的喜好。
三、 教学流程Step1:PreparationT: Weekend is coming. What do you usually do on weekends S1: …(do exercise, go shopping, watch TV shows)S2: T: As for me, I usually take a walk in the park . But this weekend, I want to watch TV. Step2: PresentationT: Do you like watching TV What kind of TV shows do you know S1: Talent shows.(...)T: Good. Look at the pictures . What talent shows are they Ss: They are American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and China’s Got Talent.T: Wonderful! Let’s enjoy a video.2、After seeing a video, T: What kind of TV show is it S:A sports show.3、T: Look at the picture. What are they S:A soap opera.T: Read after the teacher. T: And how about this one S: A talk show.4、T: Listen carefully. (Play the music.) T: What kind of TV shows is it Ss:A sitcom.T: And how about this sound Ss: News.(强调新闻为不可数名词)By using the methodology above, the teacher helps students to conclude the phrases. Students Number the TV shows [1–5] in the order they hear them(2a). Then play it the second time. Step8: HomeworkA(必做)完成书本1a的练习;根据今日所学节目名称及句型,编写谈论节目的对话;B(选做)1、采访父母或朋友喜欢的节目情况。教师首先提问What do you do on weekends 引出本单元的主题词TV shows。让学生回顾已学知识(Unit4 talent shows),并引出新的电视节目类型。AB两组的认读竞争,提高学生的团队意识。教师给出指令,要求学生表达对电视节目的看法。教师呈现表情符号引出love, like, don’t like, can’t stand. 让学生学会如何表达喜好。

五、教学反思与改进通过本课时的学习,巩固了学生所学的知识。锻炼了学生的听力及抓取关键信息的能力,训练了学生的口头表达能力。将听、说、读和写的任务结合起来不仅锻炼了学生的语言综合运用能力,而且巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用能力。学生的英语学习兴趣还行,课堂参与性较积极,敢于大胆表达自己的想法。由于技术问题,听力材料2b没有落实逐句的听音模仿,影响了听力教学的效率。
