一、教材分析
本课是一篇关于热带雨林的说明文阅读课。学生通过对热带雨林的特点及重要作用的学习，会对于雨林有较为清楚的认识，同时增强环保意识；针对说明文体裁设计的阅读题目可以提高学生获取信息的能力从而掌握解决问题的方法和技巧。
二、教学目标
1.知识目标
这一课话题是谈论热带雨林，要求掌握rainforest, cover, climate, die out等单词及意识到雨林的重要性。
2. 技能目标
通过听、读、说等多种途径对说明文体裁进行学习，掌握说明文的做题方法及技巧。学习如何写作简单的应用文。
3.情感态度目标
随着对热带雨林的学习和了解，学生们能够意识到雨林的重要性，并积极参与到保护雨林的行动中去，为构建和谐的生态环境做出一份贡献。

1.热带雨林的特点及其重要性。

Step 1 Warm-up

①show some pictures about rainforests
