1. Ask the teacher for it.
① v. 请求；要求。
常用短语：
ask for 寻求；要求
ask sb. for sth. 向某人要某物
ask sb. to do sth. 要求某人做某事
ask sb. not to do sth. 要求某人不做某事
② v. 询问；问
常用短语：
ask sb. about sth. 向某人询问某事
Ask him about his family. 询问一下他的家庭情况。
2. Some keys are in Classroom 7E.
Some students are in the classroom. （修饰可数名词）
Some water is in the cup. （修饰不可数名词）
① adj. 意为“一些；某些”，一般用于肯定句中，后接可数名词复数或不可数名词。一般疑问句或否定句中要把some变成any。
【注意】当疑问句表示建议或请求，并希望对方给予肯定答复时，也要用some。
Here are some apples. Some are red and some are green. 这儿有一些苹果。有些是红色的，有些是绿色的。
I don’t have any baseballs. 我没有棒球。
② pron. 意为“有些；有的”，可用于指代可数名词复数或不可数名词。
【拓展】any用作形容词或代词，意为“任何（的）；任一（的）”，一般用于否定句或疑问句中。

① v. 给...发电子邮件；用电邮发送
You can e-mail your sister. 你可以给你的姐姐发电子邮件。

e-mail sb. at... 意为“给某人发电子邮件到...”，at后接电子邮箱地址。

① 此处是动词lose的过去式，意为“遗失；丢失”。

5. I must find it.
① must 情态动词，意为“必须”。没有时态、人称和数的变化，后接动词原形。
He must help me. 他必须帮助我。
I must find my watch. 我必须找到我的手表。
② find v. 找到；发现，强调结果。过去式为found。
She found a watch in the library. 她在图书馆发现了一块手表。
