)My topic today is taken from Lesson 26 of Unit 5 in Student Book 1. The main content of this unit is “Family and Home”, and the topic of Lesson 26 is “Family Tree”. I have decided to say the lesson from seven parts:

Part 1.Teaching Material
1.This unit mainly include family members,age and position besides new words, phrases, expressions. As the first learning part about family members--Lesson 26, we learn family tree and recognize the relationship between people.Ss should try to introduce their family members to others in English after this lesson.
Such a topic is very important in this unit. I will lead the students to use their words and expressions and encourage them to make sentences even write a short passage using verb be and auxiliary verb do/does.
Part 2.Students’ Analysis
The Ss are from Class 13, Grade 7. Most of the students are secondary, with fewer top students.Most students have an average foundation.Although most of the students have come into contact with English in primary school, their ability to use English is very weak.The teacher should help the students to further develop good behavior and study habits.
2.In the introductory teaching stage, we should try our best to link up the primary and middle schools, cultivate good study habits, slow down the teaching progress, and think of some ways to improve the studentsundefined interest in learning. For example, students like to play games, competitions and other ways to repeat some basic words, basic sentence patterns because of their young age and lively nature
Part 3:Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aim:Ss can attain words for“four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing .Master new phrases and expressions.
2.Ability aim: Let Ss know how to make family tree and recognize the family members' relationship .
3.Emotion aim : Learn how to introduce their family members briefly and correctly;Cultivate the feelings of loving family

Part 5:Teaching Methods and Learning Strategies
1.“Task-based” language teaching method : Students will be assigned to make a dialog in limited time. This task will make it possible for the students to pick up the language in an authentic way.
2.Game teaching method:Let the students take part in the game,strengthen their ability to make friends and improve their learning interest.
3. Cooperative inquiry method:Encourage students to communicate in English as much as possible. Encourage students to work hard and speak out in the English class.
Part 6:Teaching procedures
Step 1 Lead-in
Think about the questions teacher gives and answer them.
Step2 Presentation
Show the new words and phrases, explain the meanings with pictures and examples.
Step3 Practice
Listening:Listen to Part 1 twice then fill in the blanks and answer the questions.
Reading:Read the text loudly followed by teacher ,then answer the questions .(p69 No.2)
Step 4 Summary
Key language points and expressions.Give explanations and examples
Step 5 Exercise
Finish the sentences with the correct forms of the given words and expressions.
