Task 1
Step 1 Warming-up
Ask Ss to talk about their school life based on the sample.
【设计意图】本单元的主题是Welcome to our school,学生在上一课时刚学完有关Millie学校的文章,可利用已学知识谈论自己的学校生活,快速导入到本节课的教学内容。
Step 2 Presentation
Ask Ss to read an article about Millie’s school life and circle the personal pronouns.
【设计意图】将本节课语法知识放在语境中让学生宏观感知,并快速导入本节课语法知识。
Let’s learn
Present the definition of the personal pronouns.
【设计意图】给出人称代词的定义,让学生快速掌握理论知识。
Present the following sentences to help Ss get to know the subject form. Then show a table to teach the subject form.
I am a student.
You are my classmate.
We are classmates.
She is our Chinese teacher.
He is our Geography teacher.
They often help us.
It is big and beautiful.

Step 1 Presentation
1. Offer the following sentences to help Ss to find out the subject form.
I like it very much.
Let me tell you about my school life.
I am good at all of them.
We all like him.
Sandy is my best friend and I like to play volleyball with her.

2. Ask Ss to complete the form and then ask them a question “When do we use the object form ” to guide them to think about when we use the subject form.

Step 2 Practice
Let Ss complete the conversation and check the answers.

Have Ss find out the pronouns in sentences to distinguish the subject pronouns from the object pronouns.
3. Offer a picture and get Ss to introduce it in a short passage.
