Task
教学目标
掌握本课重点词汇及短语：dislike, reason, ready, get ready for sth, learn, world
掌握本课重点句型：

明确表格的含义，依据快乐表格完成Millie的日记。
仿照Millie的日记，完成一篇描写自己喜好的文章。
在单元结束时，能够自主评价学习成果，反思自己的不足，并加以改进。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Guide Ss to do a guessing game.
Describe a character and let Ss guess.
【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏引入新课。既激发了兴趣，又学习了本节课的生词。为接下来的环节做了词汇准备。
Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Guide Ss to learn words composed by dis-/im-/un-/in-
【设计意图】拓展生词中的语言点，为学生夯实基本功。
2. Show Millie’s happiness chart and guide Ss to talk about Millie’s likes and dislikes.
3. Guide Ss to work in pairs and do a role-play.
4. Ask Ss to complete Millie’s diary entry according to the chart.
【设计意图】聚焦Milli的幸福图表，谈论Millie的喜恶，在语境中内化语言和信息，在完成Millie的日记中，聚焦语言，引起学生注意目标语言的用法。
5. Guide Ss to summarize the structure of the article.
【设计意图】帮助学生回顾文章结构，为接下来的写作做好结构上的输入，同时也锻炼了学生的总结归纳能力。
6. Guide Ss to work in groups of four and introduce their likes and dislikes in their groups.
