Unit 2第一课时 Section A(1a-2c)
一、教学目标
1.知识目标
(1)单词: sister, mother,father,parent,brother, grandmother, grandfather,grandparent,family,those,who,these.
(2)句型:“This/That is..These/Those are...She/He is...”及who引导的特殊疑问句。
2.能力目标
⑴学会正确运用名词的复数形式。
(2)能够运用目标语言开展介绍他人的交际活动。
3.情感目标
通过介绍家人和朋友,增进彼此间的了解,建立友谊,理解并关爱家人。
二、重点难点
1.教学重点:(1)掌握有关家庭成员的单词。
(2)介绍他人的用语:This/That is...These/Those are...She/He is...They are...及 who引导的特殊疑问句。
2.教学难点:理解并能正确熟练地解决单复数一致问题。

Step 1 Leading in
1. Present the new words by the following chant and write down the words on the blackboard.
family,family是我家,
father, mother是爸妈,
一起称作 parents,
单个就是parent,
儿子son就是我,
女儿daughter却是她,
我是兄弟 brother,
她是姐妹sister.
grandfather年纪大,
grandmother 眼睛花,
相互扶持grandparents.
独自叹息grandparent,
uncle,aunt到我家,
我给他们端杯茶,
领个cousin和我过家家,
大家一起笑哈哈。
Note: read"grandfather,grandmother,grandparent,parent" more times if necessary.
2. Practice the new words.
Read,spell and write the new words.

Ask the students to find the family members and match the words with the people in the picture.

Step 2 Listening
1.Listen and circle.
T: A boy is talking about his family. Who is he talking about Now listen and circle the wordsyou hear in 1a.

2.Practice
Ask the students to introduce their family members like this:

These/Those are my...
(注意解释These ar..是This s..的复数形式/Those ar...是That i..的复数形式)
3. Listen and circle the words you hear in 2a.
Answers: parents, mother, father, sister, grandparents, brother
4. Listen again. Match the names with the people in the picture in 2b.

5. Pair work: Talk about the family in 2b like that in 2c.

6. Translate the sentences into Chinese.

2. Work in groups.
(1 )those为指示代词,意为“那些”,是that的复数形式,其对应词是these。 these 和those 与复数名词连用: this 和that与单数名词连用。this和these指时间或空间上较近(较近)的人或物that 和those指时间或空间上较远(较远)的人或物。
(2)who为疑问代词,常用来引导特殊疑问句(句式),放在句首,其常用句式结构为: Who+连系动词be+其他
Step 4 Survey and report
1. Make a survey about your partner's family. Write down his/her name and family members.
2. Report it like this:
Hello, my name s..Looko at this photo. This is my family photo. This is my..and this is m...They are old. These are my..This is my-.Her/His name is..This is my..Her/His name is..I love my family.

Step 1 Leading in
1. Ask the students to talk about their family members. They can use the photos or pictures of their families and talk like this:
My name is..This is my family. These ar..Those are.. and thats'..Whos he/she He/She s..They love me and I love them.
2. Translate the words and a sentence into English. Then read them in groups.

一天:- -日: 白天day 再见bye/goodbye (表示祝愿)过得愉快! Have a good day!
Step 2 Role-play
1. Role-play the conversation in 2d. The teacher can ask them to do it in groups of six. They may take turns to role-play.
Note: Listen and repeat to the teacher or the tape if ncessary.
2. Ask the students to understand some new language points and explain some of them if there are any questions.
(1)- -Are those your parents 那是你们的父母吗
-Yes, theyare. 是的,他们是。
Are these/tho...是一般疑问句(句式),意为“这些/那些... ”, 其肯定回答用Yes, theyare.,否定回答用No, they aren't.。
Is this/that..是Are these/hose.. 的单数形式,其肯定回答用Yes, it is. ,否定回答用No, it isn’t.
(2)Well, have a good day!好吧,祝你们玩得愉快!
Have a good day!是祝福用语,意为“过得愉快!”,其回答常用Thanks/Thank you. .
Step3 Pairwork
1. Show some photos of family members.
Then ask the students to practice in pairs after the model.
e. g.
A: Hi, who's he
B: He's my father.
A: Who's she
B: She's my sister.
A: Who are they
B: They are my grandparents.
2. Ask some pairs to act in class.
Step4 Consolidation
1. Ask the students to complete the conversation in 3a and practice it with a partner.
Answers: is, Who's, He's, she, my, who're, They're
2. Ask the students to look at the picture in 3b and make as many sentences as possible with the
words in the boxes.
Step5 Grammar Focus
1. Ask the students to read and translate the sentences in Grammar Focus.
2. Summarize this part together.
(1)介绍人:

Step 3 Listening
1. Listen and check the words you hear in 1b.
T: Jiang Tao and Tom are talking about Jiang Tao's family. Please listen and check the words you hear.

2. Listen again and find out which picture they are talking about.

Step 4 Group work
1. Ask the students to draw or show their own pictures and talk about them in groups.
T: We have seen the picture of Jiang Tao's family. Can you draw a picture of your family

T: OK. When you finish drawing, tell your partnerabout your picture. You can use "This is.." and "These are.." . Then report it to the class.
(Students work. The teacher walks around in the classroom and helps the students. Ask two or
three students to report. )

此句是以Is开头的一-般疑问句, 肯定回答为Yes, sheis. ,否定回答为No, she isn't.。
(2)These are my parents and this is my grandma.这是我的父母,这是我的祖母。
此句为介绍人的句型。介绍人的两个句子结构: This/That is+单数名词。: These/Those aret
复数名词。.它们都遵循“主谓-致”原则。
Step5 Practice and consolidation
1. Talk about the family tree on the blackboard.
T: Look at the family tree and complete it.
2. Draw your own family tree and report it to the class.
You can report like this:

Step6 Task
1. Ask two or three students to read the names which are collected from UNIT 2.
2. Ask the students to write the first names of the male in the left chart and the ones of the female in the right chart.

2. Writing
Let's write the words of family members as many as possible and finish part 1 of Self Check 1.
The students check each other.

Female: mother, mom, grandmother, grandma, aunt, sister, daughter
3. Translate the new words into English, and then read them in groups.

Step2 Reading
1. Ask the students to read about Jenny's family in 2b and circle the names quickly. Check the names.

4. Read the two sentences and translate them into Chinese.

The students read the passage and write some words from the passage.
5. Work in groups.
(1)and为并列连词,意为“和”,它可以连接两个单词、短语或句子,用来表示并列或承接关系。
(2)here副词,意为“这就是,在这里”,放在句子的开头,构成倒装句,用以引起注意或加强语气。其谓语动词的形式要与最接近它的名词保持一致。
(3)photo可数名词,意为“照片",复数形式为photos,同义词为picture.of为介词,意为“...的",在英语中可表示所居关系,相当于形容词性物主代词或名词所有格。
Step3 Practice
1. Ask the students to complete the passage with the words in the box in 3a.

Step4 Writing
