Elephants are my favourite animals. They are the largest animals on land.
They have to eat a lot of food every daybecause they are so big. They eat 300 to 500 pounds of grass in a day. They can live up to 60 to 70 years.
There are no bones in the back of elephants’ feet—only fat, and they walk on tiptoe, so they move quietly. And they can walk in the mud easily. They have large and long teeth—tusks. People make many nice things out of them. However, it’s wrong to use tusks to make things, and it should be stopped. We should protect elephants.
