1. inspire
(1)vt.鼓舞,激励
inspire sb. (to sth.)鼓励某人(某事)
inspire sb.to do sth. 鼓励某人做某事
Inspired by the sunny weather, I decided to explore the woods. 阳光明媚的天气令人振奋,我决定到森林里寻幽探胜。
(2)vt.启发思考,赋予灵感(常用于被动语态)
His first novel was inspired by the memory of his childhood. 他的第一部小说受到了他儿时记忆的启发。
(3)vt.使产生(感觉或情感)
inspire sb. with sth. = inspire sth.in sb.使某人产生
The father talked with his son and inspired him with confidence. =The father talked with his son and inspired confidence in him. 那位父亲和他的儿子进行了谈话,使他的儿子产生了信心。

2. come across
(1)偶然遇见,偶然发现。为及物短语动词,相当于happen to meet, run across等。
When walking down the street, I came across David, whom I hadn't seen for years. 当我走在街上的时候,偶然遇到了戴维,我已经有好多年没见过他了。
(2)被理解,被弄懂。为不及物短语动词,相当于come over.
Your point really came across at the meeting. 会上你的观点大家都非常明白了。

3. pour out sth.
pour out sth. (=pour sth.out)毫无保留地表达感情(或思想等),表露无遗,畅所欲言
She poured out her troubles to me over a cup of coffee. 她一面喝着咖啡,一面向我倾吐着她的烦恼。

pour sth.into. . . 把某物倒进……
pour sth.for sb. =pour sb.sth. 给某人倒某物
pour cold water on/over sth. 对某事泼冷水
pour sth.out 倒(饮料等)
He poured some water into a glass. 他往玻璃杯里倒了些水。
(2)vi.(雨)倾盆而下,下大雨pour down(雨)倾盆而下
By the time the group got up to leave, it was pouring outside. 当这群人起身离开时,外面正下着倾盆大雨。
(3)vi.不断涌向(或涌现)
pour into. . . 涌进……
pour out (of. . . ) (从……)涌出
Thousands of people poured into the stadium to watch the football match. 许许多多的人涌进体育场观看这场足球比赛。

写作指导
如何写诗歌赏析类文章
诗歌赏析类文章一般有两种写法:
1.通过对全诗的整体分析,表达自己的观点。
在这种形式下,一篇较完整的诗歌赏析类文章包含如下写作思路如下内容:
(1)作者简介
(2)作品写作背景简介
(3)作品意象分析(诗句的解释或翻译,诗句所表达的情感、思想和意境)
(4)作品艺术手法分析(通常结合在作品意象分析之中)
(5)作品艺术特点的综合评价(往往带有总结的意味)
如果不要求赏析很完整,则可不写作者简介以及作品写作背景简介两部分的内容。
2.就诗歌最突出的方面进行分析,表达自己的见解。
采用这种写法时,作者往往只需抓住其中一个方面,如意境、语言表达、某一手法等。对于其他方面则可不提及,因而采用这种写法的文章篇幅一般较短小。
常用表达:
1. Here is a poem titled . . . by. . .
2. It is popular with Chinese readers.
3. This poem is about nature and life.
4. It is written with special writing skills.
5. It rhymes at the end of each line.
6. The language of the poem is descriptive and vivid.
7. Whenever we read this poem, some characters appear clearly.
8. Only by reading it repeatedly can we grasp the spirit of this
9. Considered as one of the greatest poets of the Tang Dynasty . . . will undoubtedly live in people's heart forever.

Here is a poem titled "The Peasants" by Li Shen, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. It is popular with Chinese readers. It goes like this: although it is so hot outside at noon this summer, yet the farmers are still working the land. They are sweating all over and frequently their sweat falls into the soil where the crops grow. But who knows exactly that all the delicious dishes on our table come from the hard work of the farmers
Li Shen wrote this poem because he wanted to remind us to treasure the farmers' hard work. Nowadays, many young people waste a lot of food. From my point of view, it is especially important that the young generation today should understand the poem and treasure every grain.
