简单句: 只包含一个主谓结构的句子。
并列句: 主谓结构+ 连词 (and, but, so, or…) +主谓结构 (或更多的主谓结构)

S+V (主+谓)
谓语动词为不及物动词,能表达完整的意思。后面可以跟副词、介词短语、状语从句等。

3. The man cooks for his family.
4. They were singing when we arrived.

主要用以说明主语的特征,类属,状态,身份等。

谓语动词为及物动词,都是主语产生的动作,但不能表达完整的意思,必须跟有一个宾语,即动作的承受者,才能使意思完整。

(主+谓+间宾+直宾)
谓语动词必须跟有两个宾语才能表达完整的意思。这两个宾语一个是动作的直接承受者,另一个是动作的间接承受者。

(主+谓 + 宾 + 宾补)
宾语与宾语补足语之间有逻辑上的主谓关系或主表关系,若无宾语补足语,则句意不够完整。
