教材分析 The topic of this unit is "invention". Students can stimulate their spirit of scientific exploration by reading the explanatory articles about several great inventions of mankind. Students' familiarity with the "Ancient Inventions" will help teachers to carry out various teaching tasks of listening, speaking, reading and writing in this unit. The second part of reading in this lesson is mainly about the analysis of the content and structure of the text, so that students can know the specific information of these three inventions, and can name some other great inventions and why they think these inventions are great The listening part is about four advertising words for funny inventions. This is an expanded part of reading texts. New content can arouse students' interest in learning. Advertisements are not long, and there are not many new words. The advertising words for each invention of listening are composed of three parts: asking questions, eliciting products and introducing the use and benefits. As the listening content is advertising, some simple sentences are used, and some imperative sentences, interrogative sentences and other sentences are easy to understand and full of appeal. Finally, the teacher can ask students to discuss and say some other interesting inventions, and express their opinions.
