Reflexive pronouns
(反身代词)
We use reflexive pronouns when the subject and
the object are the same person.
当主语和宾语是同一个人时,我们可以使用反身代词.
1.Daniel taught himself how to learn English.
eg.
2.She enjoys herself.
1. 反身代词可以放在这些动词后面:
enjoy, help, hurt, teach, look after等。
e.g. Did you enjoy yourselves at the party
He teaches himself English at home.
“Help yourselves to some fish.”
反身代词的用法
2. 反身代词可以放在介词后面。
e.g. I mended the bike by myself.
She said to herself, “What’s wrong
with my eyes ”
He can cook for himself.
3. 反身代词不能作主语, 但是它可以作
主语的同位语,放在主语后或句末。
e.g. I went to the cinema myself.
I myself went to the cinema.
我亲自去了电影院。
4. 反身代词可以放在宾语之后。
e.g. I wish I could hear Beethoven himself
play this music.

try to do sth.表示“努力做某事,试图做某事”,强调付出努力,但不一定成功.
try doing sth.表示“试着做某事",含有看看某种方法是否可行的意思
