一、教材依据
本课是人教2012版英语七年级上册Unit 9 Section A第2课时。
二、设计思想
1．课标解读：新课程理念突出“以人为本”，重视学生能力的培养。强调外语教学不仅要向学生传授语言知识，更要注重培养学生的语言技能，重视学生的情感和态度，激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生的学习自信心，最终实现学用结合的目标。本节课的教学设计亮点在于笔者对教材进行了重整，设计由简到繁，由易到难，以学生为主体，以教师为主导；鼓励学生合作，在合作中学习，在合作中成长；整节课基于学习目标，遵循教学评一致性原则，全面开展。
2．教材分析：此套教材集合了美式英语的特点也融入了中国的教学理念，着重于文化背景知识和学习策略等部分，增加了任务型学习成份和语篇输入。本单元的话题为最喜欢的学科及其原因。1a---1c主要帮助学生掌握目标句型；2a---2c提供更多的听说训练；grammar focus部分则是对前面听说内容的语法归纳与练习。
3．学情分析：学生大部分英语基础较好，语言表达能力比较强。部分学生已具备一定的英语自学能力，教师可利用这部分学生在课堂上起到“示范”及“引领”作用。让学生通过复习、归纳等方法、经过反复练习，让其达到掌握并熟练运用的目的。

五、教学策略
针对本节课内容，为了提高学生的学习兴趣和实现预期的教学目标，本课综合运用图片描述、观察归纳运用、交流、游戏等方法，促进学生的合作、交流，重视学生观察归纳能力和英语基本知识技能的培养。

Step 2. Review[2minutes] Show some pictures about subjects. Guess the subjects according to the pictures and read together. 根据图片复习关于学科的单词，目标一的语言输入，为句型的表达做铺垫。
Step 3.Super brain [7minutes] Choose four students to come to the front and tell the students what they should do in this part.At last, choose some pairs to talk about what they heard. The students in the front tell others about their favorite subjects according to the questions on the screen. Other students should listen carefully and try to remember them. Finally , ask and answer in pairs about their expressions. 目标一的练习与检测。通过游戏，复习本单元重点句型，为下一步的观察归纳做铺垫。同时培养学生的专注力和记忆力。
Step 4.Grammar Focus[5minutes] Ask the students to look through the sentences and find the rules.Choose one student to write the rules on the blackboard. Look through the sentences and find the rules.Take notes on their books.Read the rules together. 通过观察句型，发现特殊疑问词的用法。培养学生观察归纳的能力。目标二的输入。
Step 5.Exercise [5minutes] Show some exercises about the “wh-questions”. Do the exercises. 目标二的练习与检测。通过针对性练习，巩固特殊疑问词的用法。练习题由易到难，从词到句。
Step 6.Survey [15minutes] Organize the students to do a survey in their groups. Help them to choose the topic and give them the task cards. Choose some groups to show their survey results. Choose a topic and do a survey in the group.Each group chooses a reporter to express their survey result. 目标三的练习与检测。小组围绕“最喜欢的···”展开调查。进一步练习特殊疑问词的使用。拓展相关话题，培养学生学以致用的能力。
Step7.Summary[5minutes] Summarize the knowledge that we learnt today Summarize the knowledge that we learnt today with the teacher 通过小结，再现整节课的3个目标，加深学生印象。同时培养学生归纳总结的学习习惯。
