《Lesson 9 Mr. Wood Teaches a Lesson》教学设计
教材分析:
本课是冀教版小学英语第七册第十一课。本课为我们提供了两个运用语言的语境。第一个为师生讨论的天气及温度的相关知识的对话,这个内容与我们的生活息息相关,我们生活中离不开天气,更需要温度;第二、三部分则为我们列出了几个生活中常见的图形,并联系现实生活中与图形相关的食物,给学生们提供自由讨论的空间,我们周围的事物是由各种图形组成的,图形与我们的生活更是密不可分。因此,从本课书的编排来看,能够调动孩子们的学习欲望。
学情分析:
高年级英语教学不能单单停留在单词的教学上,要有“提度”,也就是要体现单词在生活中的实际应用。让学生通过创设语境,提高自己的能力,达到I+1也就是比学生的限有水平略高一点的能力。
教学目标:
知识目标:
1、通过学习,使学生能够听、说、读、写单词circle、 line、square 、triangle、 shape.
2、通过学习,会实际运用:What’s the temperature It’s ____degrees. What’s your favorite shape My favorite shape is a _____or I like_____句型。
能力目标:
1、使学生能够熟练认知本课知识并运用在实际生活中。
2、培养学生实际运用语言的能力。
情感目标:激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣以及通过创设情境培养学生学英语的积极性和主动性,并培养学生大胆说英语的能力,增强自信心。
教学准备:温度计、1杯热水、1杯凉水、图片、彩笔、铅笔、教学课件。
教学过程:
一.Class opening and Review
(一)Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls
Ss: Hello, Miss Yang.
T: Are you ready for English class

(二)Free talk
T: Now boys and girls, look out the window. How’s the weather today

设计意图:从复习到新授,过渡自然 不会割裂知识的整体,学生易于掌握。“free talk”是对新知识的一个准备活动,与实际相联系,更真实,自然。

设计意图:利用真实情景介绍新知识和练习,直观形象的把语言和实际生活联系起来,使交际活动生活化。

设计意图:通过课件展示,给学生一定的情景,学生运用所学知识创编新的对话,使学生运用语言的能力有所提高,培养学生的创造力。

设计意图:通过一系列多种形式的活动,使课堂有声有色,富有活力,使学生喜欢学,乐于学,让学生感到学习的乐趣,在不知不觉中不断巩固记忆新知识。

设计意图:在听的过程中为学生预留了任务,符合英语新课程标准中提倡的任务型教学并且能引导学生注意听重点内容,为他们的学习提供了方向。

设计意图:画并谈论自己喜欢的形状,再次激起学生的学习兴趣,它不仅展示了本段的学习成果,也是一个口语练习的机会与过程,扩展知识面,提高学生的语言运用能力。

设计意图:通过改编歌曲“Do you know the donut man.” 为“Do you know the temperature?”.并以多媒体的形式出现,再次出现本课关键词汇,加深记忆。

教学反思:
在教学的过程中,我把几个枯燥的图形放到实际生活中,让学生们在练习中去感悟语言,在最后的综合活动中去运用语言。课文分为三部分:第一部分要求学生听懂会说句型What’s the temperature inside/outside It’s _____degrees.第二部分让学生掌握四会单词shape, circle, triangle, line, square.第三部分Danny’s favorite shape.从内容来看,每一部分的联系不是很紧,因此我在讲温度时,我通过设计真实情景,晴朗的天气中太阳在天空中照耀着引出了第二部分的形状,又由my favorite shape导入到第三部分Danny’s favorite shape。
成功之处:本节课让学生联系生活实际来学习温度以及图形。在活动中,我始终做到词不离句,句不离段,发挥学生们的创造力与想象力,体验生活中的图形。把死的知识带入到真实的生活中,做到学以致用。
不足之处:学习英语一个重要的目的是运用英语进行交际,两人之间的交际是活动的重要形式,因此,语言训练中应经常开展两人活动。在讲What’s the temperature inside/outside 时,我未能够让学生大面积的进行操练,经过课后思考,我认为可以板书不同地点,不同季节和不同温度进行一问一答或者男女生互动形式的对话,让学生能够扎实的掌握这个句型。
在今后教学中,我坚持以学生为中心,充分调动学生的积极性,引导学生积极动脑、动口、动手,踊跃参加课堂语言活动。在日常教学中,我更应注意坚持提高自身素质,让学生多听多练的同时不忘自身的提高。
