Last year, a group of elephants decided to go north! After months of traveling, they made it nearly 500 kilometers away from their home in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. And it seems that they are not going to stop their trip anytime soon.
“Asian elephants often stay in certain areas. It's very rare(罕见的) to see them travel such a long way,” said Chen Mingyong, a life science professor at Yunnan University.
