Study skills
教学目标
1. 掌握本课重点词汇及短语：certain, active, possible, tidy, tidy up
2. 能够为单词配上前缀，构成反义词。
3. 能在语境中用构词法知识，表达词汇的肯定和否定形式。
二、教学重点及难点
重点：
1. 指导学生掌握构成规则，为单词配上前缀，构成反义词。
2. 指导学生能在语境中使用规则构成反义词表达意义。
难点：指导学生如何能在语境中使用规则构成反义词表达意义。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Show the pictures of emoji and ask Ss what the signs mean.
【设计意图】使用相反意义的表情符号，引导学生说出表情符号所表达的意思，激发学生的兴趣，同时引出本节课的主题。
Step 2 Presentation
Introduce the prefixes to the students and show the rules and offer more examples.
【设计意图】通过设计带有前缀的题目，引导学生去观察、思考、感悟和猜测其词义，并且让他们找出构词的规律来，激起学生学习的兴趣。
Step 3 Practice
1. Guide Ss change the words into their opposite forms by adding prefixes.
【设计意图】通过练习，强化学生对上一步所讲解的前缀构词法的掌握。
2. Guide Ss to read the conversation and add the correct prefixes to some adjectives so that all the sentences make sense.
【设计意图】通过在对话语境中感知内化前缀的功能，使用合适的反义词表达意义。
3. Guide Ss to correct the mistakes in sentences to guide them to avoid misbehaviour.
【设计意图】通过小语境中，帮助学生内化语言，同时引发学生思考自己的行为。
Step 4 Extension
1. Guide Ss to discuss how they should behave in class or in school to guide them to use the prefixes to express their ideas.
【设计意图】衔接上一个活动，让学生讨论他们如何在学校表现，内化语言的同时，引发学生审视并修正自己的行为。
2. Get Ss to fill in the blanks with adjectives with prefixes un-, in-, im- and dis-.
【设计意图】在语境中使用前缀构成反义词，帮助学生形成语篇下的主题意义的探究。
Step 5 Summary
Summarize what they’ve learnt in this class.
Step 6 Homework
1. Remember all the negative prefixes.
2. Try to find out some other negative prefixes.
